might not, drove one as courtesy car and when passing vehicles to the left, it tried to turn into them as i was close to centre line since it was only for few hours, didnt know how to turn off.
Man, I wish I could just trust the car to ride for me in the city... And I think it's very doable, actually, especially if we integrate the information about the whole infrastructure, traffic lights in real time, etc into the computers of the cars we produce. And if/when we'll equip every vehicle and bicycles and maybe even pedestrians with a GPS tag, so that our vehicles know exactly where everybody is. If we really wanted and worked as one, we could've had our city traffic completely automated years ago, I believe. Watching this video, it feels like I would spend less energy if I did everything manually than "assisting" the assisting system. 😅
hello. i got my 2023 Toyota yaris with all features and mine seems to not detect lanes at low speed. the indicator changes betweeen black filled lanes, which i assume is not detected and white filled lanes, which i actually dont really know what it means, but never any blue guidelines to indicate the LTA is fully active. my city i live in has very good street quality and very visible lanes. do i do something wrong? any info helps
I think the system is only designed to assist when you are on a Highway, so even if it can handle stopped traffic, it won't highlight the lanes in blue until it "sees" the painted white lines go by frequently. I would be interested to see if this happens at low speed with solid white painted lines..
I've heard in one video on UA-cam that I think Yaris has a system that detects pedestrians and stops automatically. In fact, that's what I'm trying to find right now - a video where someone is testing this system. Apparently not many people made videos about testing it. Or maybe I'm just not using the right key words...
Hi Great video thanks ...Does sbdy know if the Yaris 2019/2020 workings as efficiently as this one even if the system on the steering wheel is different? Thanks by advance
Does anyone know how to get rid of the annoying reminder? I'm not even letting go of the wheel, just holding it lightly, and I have to "swerve" on straight highways to get it to continue with lane assist. Also are there any hazards with driving this way in terms of braking? Like, is the system intelligent enough to not wear out the brakes? Does it even use the brakes in a hybrid? Or does it only use the regenerateive braking? Has anyone encountered another Toyota driver using this at the same time, and if so, did it affect your radar proximity sensors?
Yaris does not have capacitive steering wheel so the driver has to move it a little bit from time to time. ACC uses brakes similar to how the driver makes it: regenerative braking in first step and friction brakes if it is necessary. I am not sure about your last question: the front radar is used all the time when you drive, even without ACC active.
@@1001cars thanks for the info! Yeah I was more curious, if many cars using the same system are on the road at the same time, in close proximity, can they interfere with each other? I'm assuming they are all on the same frequency, so would it be possible to pick up another car's radar or even worse, do they share a frequency with police speed traps? I'm assuming this has been thoroughly thought out, but a few weeks ago I drove past a police roadside speed camera and noticed it flashed multiple times as I drove by, well under the speed limit. Is this even possible?
Finally the video I wanted to see
same here

5:30 Lucky blue bus 🚍 ! 😁
Why following the car ahead has higher priority in the decision tree than lane keeping? The latter is the more general case, in my opinion...

5:33 that was dangerous
It wanted to follow the car ahead maybe
Danke! Besser als ein Buch!
The LTA in this vehicle turns off with little warning, be careful
Good music choice
Please review for Honda Jazz 2020 - thanks!
Wish the lane assist was this good in the Skoda Kamiq

Is this feature available in the lower spec car? i.e active sport?
Yes it’s standard all across the range
@@remino7779 I have Selection Style and the cruise control disengages below 30 km/h. Any way to activate that from zero start?

Right, there is study right now, it’s called smart city but it is about new 6G, GPS is not very accurate :/

Ha ha at 6.06 is my favourite part
Awesone ! Could you test range in EV pure electric mode?
It is pointless, you should not do that. This car is not designed to drive in electric only mode like Plug-In Hybrid cars

Amazing safety technologies. Should be on every new car.

Dear, can you set the speed higher than 125 km
Yes
Does only one hand on the steering wheel get rid of the warning, or do you have to use 2 hands?
You have to move the steering wheel a little bit, no matter how

Dlaczego nie sprawdziłeś brake assist system w korku ?
Whats this cars name
The name is written in the movie title?
is better use a comma3 and openpilot
Can you override the "hold wheel" message?
You can, but only hardware-wise. E.g. by attaching something not too heavy stuff on the wheel. We tried with a power bank on a Skoda, it worked.
@@szabolcsh2901 Nice! but we need something more solid like a software remap.
