We do have to love unconditionally as Jesus does, but we are to hold up Christ's standards for ourselves and for others. Modesty and holiness need to be reflected in our communication, dress, deportment etc. The world's standards should not influence and dictate our appearance and behaviour. Jesus sees our hearts but he expects that we would get understanding through the reading of His word and submission to the Holy Spirit for guidance and conviction.
@@danielleholifield4822 We can't judge either way. You cannot even say that their hearts were in the right place. Only God knows who ignored His guidance or followed it. Only God knows who knew better or not. This is why pastors of churches need to set guidelines as led by the Holy Spirit. We are supposed to judge, not condemn, anyone we allow to minister to us according to the Word of God. But just as we cannot condemn, we can't know what is in someone's heart.

Especially, when you working in a factory setting 5-7 days a week sometimes and they don’t have the time to wear nice apparel they have! What do you call 'church'? Not every group of people gathering somewhere, and calling themselves 'church' is church. Church are those called by God. And i'm sure those ladys know very well, they could have dressed better. But they choosed to do it this way, they know very what they are doing. Just dont excuse them. In I Corinthians 6:19-20 scripture teaches us : Do you not know that your body is a Temple of the Holy Spirit within you whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. Modesty is an attitude of humility and decency in dress, grooming, language and behavior. You do not draw undue attention to yourself. Instead you seek to glorify God in your body and your spirit not with clothes too tight, too short, tattoos and lace pantyhose.

I am more disturbed by most of the comments then anything else. God’s love does not condemn, it convicts; it’s transformative. Let the word of God do it’s job. It really works when we apply properly.
The word of God can only do its job when it's being preached. People sit in church years after years and watch so called preachers tell jokes when they should be preaching. What change will take place? Everybody is scared anyway. They're scared that people will say they're passing judgement. But God told the prophet lift your voice like a trumpet and cry out to tell my people their transgression. Do we want to change really?

Those of us that know better. We do better. I. A 66 year old grandmother, from the time til 12 yrs old, I was taught how to be presented be fore God, in t e sanctuary. In the past. I was a coir director, trying to give proper and Cristian guidance to the younger ladies, but when you have a pastor/leader, who wa to to appease them, they will not take heed, pastors let it happen, because sista Ann is o e of our best singers, so it flies, church is not all it used to be, it's politics and money, ..Where's the correction and Training in love?...I'm just done, I praise God anyhow.

I thought holiness dress code was legalism and control - I would dress in bikini and booty shorts and cropped tops but when I began to have a prayer life, praying in the Spirit daily for a long time each day - it was not long before the Lord Jesus changed my desires and I began to dress modestly - wearing skirts and dresses and no more makeup and jewelry. So clearly the Holy Ghost sanctifies us and makes us holy but we have to spend time praying in order for that to happen.

@tinaye this is so true,i to had a hard time giving up things out of my closet that were not becoming of modesty,but the night God came in my living room and saved me the only words that would come out was, “i surrender i surrender”, we have to submit to God totally everyday is a surrender to the Holy Ghost, i have purchased even dresses to wear and when i would get it home and try it on i would feel the sweet Holy Ghost prick my heart and tell me that needs to go back to the store, so if we follow the leading of the spirit HE will guide us into all truth, im just totally sold out to Jesus praise God and glad about it, if he tell me wear a paper bag then sign me up i just love the Lord!! Saints I was singing on the choir abs clubbing. So I did not hide it from God but from people with my proper dress. It is no different. God does not think like man. We do understand that after being under the conviction of the word of God is what changes you..leadership, ministry come with time. When you minister you don't want to become a distraction in any way. You want God to get all the Glory and help people put their minds on Him. It's not going to happen with club clothes on.

Another man or woman's hypocrisy and possible false conversion will carry not weight before the righteous Judge. No matter the spiritual condition of a church fellowship the Bible is right. The Bible is the standard. The Bible teaches holiness. The Bible teaches modest dress 1 Peter 3. Every church that's doing what you described will be judged harshly by the Righteous Judge. We as Christians can never assume that everyone who is in church has been taught. There are many who have never been to church or never been taught how to dress when it comes to the house of God. We do have to love unconditionally as Jesus does, but we are to hold up Christ's standards for ourselves and for others. Modesty and holiness need to be reflected in our communication, dress, deportment etc. The world's standards should not influence and dictate our appearance and behaviour. Jesus sees our hearts but he expects that we would get understanding through the reading of His word and submission to the Holy Spirit for guidance and conviction.

Only God knows who knew better or not. This is why pastors of churches need to set guidelines as led by the Holy Spirit. We are supposed to judge, not condemn, anyone we allow to minister to us according to the Word of God. But just as we cannot condemn, we can't know what is in someone's heart.

The word of God can only do its job when it's being preached. People sit in church years after years and watch so called preachers tell jokes when they should be preaching. What change will take place? Everybody is scared anyway. They're scared that people will say they're passing judgement. But God told the prophet lift your voice like a trumpet and cry out to tell my people their transgression. Do we want to change really?

I was a coir director, trying to give proper and Cristian guidance to the younger ladies, but when you have a pastor/leader, who wa to to appease them, they will not take heed, pastors let it happen, because sista Ann is o e of our best singers, so it flies, church is not all it used to be, it's politics and money, ..Where's the correction and Training in love?...I'm just done, I praise God anyhow.

So clearly the Holy Ghost

Another man or woman's hypocrisy and possible false conversion will carry not weight before the righteous Judge. No matter the spiritual condition of a church fellowship the Bible is right. The Bible is the standard. The Bible teaches holiness. The Bible teaches modest dress 1 Peter 3. Every church that's doing what you described will be judged harshly by the Righteous Judge. We as Christians can never assume that everyone who is in church has been taught. There are many who have never been to church or never been taught how to dress when it comes to the house of God.
