I've also seen a couple of 2CVs on fire on the hard shoulder of motorways as I passed by. I believe they were very prone to igniting like a Ronson. I have ridden in a Beetle many times. Very, very noisy with that air cooled boxer engine behind you. But I loved the painted metal dashboard - very cool.

Chinese are creating all styles of EVBs. I like this one. It has a charging port on both sides. It reminds me of a VW beetle, but overall cute. I like goldfish swimming on the front dash screen. Interior materials look cheap but have creative design. I don't dare compare it to all other EBVs in the US, but I see the uniqueness of Chinese vehicles, and I value that.

Year later reply lol, ora is a subrand of great wall motors they manufactured only trucks since 1984 until very recent My dad owns a 2007 great wall safe, which is a "knockoff" of a toyota 4runner with the drive train of an old hilux, currently 400.000+ km, and only needs a new clutch
Press-knobs look more hi-tech and cool, but rotary knobs are always more user-friendly! Especially when setting air-condition. On my car, there are press-knobs for climate controls, I have to touch it 6 times to increase or decrease the heat 3 degrees, rotating a knob only once would be much easier. Anaolg is always better when using.
I really hope ORA decide to export cars like this to the United Kingdom. I personally love this little electric VW Beetle look a like. I'd definitely purchase one sometime in the future especially with the country having to go electric. It's a really good idea of ORA to bring back classic cars that the car companies are dumping because of conversion costs to electric. Without loosing the classic look of the cars also with the all new elements. Very impressed.

I like this car very much. I'd like to see a base model without so many bells and whistles that drive up the price and are prone to failure as time goes by.
By FAR the best new Beatle do over EVER...Any idea about pricing? It is a great design for Seniors to get into without having to lie down...High enough that we will not have to crawl up to get out. It is everything but the pickup we need.......

This car is very cute, people compare it to beetle vw but I thinks it's compare to the bug vw, in the mid century as far styling it really embraced that style. It as some cute modern freatures the only so far that bothers me is the table noise as one types.

This car is insanely awesome. Volkswagon should take note of what the Chinese people did. The ORA is similar to the VW Beetle, but way better, 4- door, hatch back, air conditioning and a very cool body design. I would love to have one of these cars. It's freaking beautiful. If someone offered to give me either a Maserati or an ORA, free of charge, I would take the Maserati, sell it and buy an Ora.

Ferdinand Porsche designed it in late 1930s. That's why Porsche has the same engine configuration.
