Soupah Mario Hyrule Warriors looks as though it is going to be independent of the timeline. And the Legend of Zelda timeline idea, even the one in the Hyrule Historia is kinda just a farce. There's too many inconsistencies to make it actually work.
Devilechidna It can make sense, but there's still inconsistencies. The timeline was an afterthought, so things there were true in one game have to be forgotten/omitted to make the timeline fully true. It's like the differences in the two trilogies and the tv show of Star Wars. They make a narrative that works all together... as long as you forget a few things and omit others.

It was definitely a turning point in the entire story line. Midna became less interested in amusing herself by teasing link and more involved with the actual saving of hyrule and her people’s. I believe that was partly due to Zelda infusing her energy with midna and giving her life for her so she could help link.

When a dubstep song is based off another song, it shouldn't go to far off the lines of the basis song. Otherwise, it sounds just like a bunch of techno-noise. Love the beginning, dislike the middle.
Normally i would dissagree, but in this case the middle takes a while of sounding pretty different, then it goes back. i like it, but (in my opinion) its not as good as dark world/song of storms.
I don't know a lot about music (I want to go to school for it) and I also agree with your point. But the breakdown in the middle makes it feel like it's his, like he's leaving his mark on such a great song.
You're listening to the wrong dub then. Look up Zmix, Fytch, Spag Heddy, Mitis or EH!DE. You are right though that dj-Jo lost the melody. Would be much better if he incorporated the subs into the main melody @ the beginning.

Techno is a completely different concept in the spacing of the drum beats and variation of tempo. Where mostly mid-high spectrum synths are the main in techno, dubstep focuses more on the sub-bass, the bass and the high end for its music. The drop, a good drop is a mix of rhythm and melody. So you're just going to categorize the sounds in a whole area of music as noises? that's insultin' as hell.

JCD Bionicman I listened to it again, to see what you were talking about. I didn't really notice it the first time but I do see what you mean. About two minutes in it loses the melody for a bit, with just dubstep by itself without any melody, but most of the song still has the song there. I don't really critique music that much so I don't reeeeally care personally, but there are parts with the song there at least, so you're not entirely right about it just not being there for half the song. It's just small bits where the dubstep completely overtakes the actual melody, but then it comes back in underneath it.

You're listening to the wrong dub then. Look up Zmix, Fytch, Spag Heddy, Mitis or EH!DE. You are right though that dj-Jo lost the melody. Would be much better if he incorporated the subs into the main melody @ the beginning.

and every time I do actually like it, it's apparently another subgenre of techno music entirely. it makes me wonder if some people just catagorize everything with noises like that as dubstep regardless of what else is involved in the song.
It did sound amazing, and he did lose the melody at 1:37 to 2:07, but then the melody came back. But, for those 40 seconds, he almost ruined the song. Almost.

your second is what grinds my gears. Techno is a completely different concept in the spacing of the drum beats and variation of tempo. Where mostly mid-high spectrum synths are the main in techno, dubstep focuses more on the sub-bass, the bass and the high end for its music. The drop, a good drop is a mix of rhythm and melody.
So you're just going to categorize the sounds in a whole area of music as noises? that's insultin' as hell.

Saying you like apples compared to oranges is just fine. It's fine to like a different flavor than another. We can agree to disagree there. I have to draw the line though where the apple is rotten shit.
Fact is, this guy didn't put a lot of effort into this song. I've heard some good dubstep, so I'm not saying dubstep is bad. I've even tried to relisten to the song to confirm my hatred. I'm open minded like that. It's extremely jarring though for somebody to claim they are remixing a song with dubstep when in fact what they are doing is creating generic dubstep beats in whichever way they fancy, whether it actually works well with their choice of remixed song or not.
This is not midna's lament. This is two songs: Midna's lament dubstep, and then Generic Dubstep the other half of the video. At the very least, you have to concede this.

JCD Bionicman I listened to it again, to see what you were talking about. I didn't really notice it the first time but I do see what you mean. About two minutes in it loses the melody for a bit, with just dubstep by itself without any melody, but most of the song still has the song there. I don't really critique music that much so I don't reeeeally care personally, but there are parts with the song there at least, so you're not entirely right about it just not being there for half the song. It's just small bits where the dubstep completely overtakes the actual melody, but then it comes back in underneath it.
MrServantRider True, not to mention, I can understand what he's talking about. He over exaggerated but he is right, there is a point in the song where there is none of the original song (1:37 to 2:05). after that, the original song comes back with the dubstep instead of just dubstep.
