Please don’t change brother. Your videos and one other guys videos are by far my fav. No one else even comes close. You’re extremely brilliant. Yet just a normal fella like most of us. It’s great watching you. When I want to learn something and laugh at the same time. I come to you. I’ve seen every video of yours. And every time I open UA-cam. I look to see if you came out with something new before I watch anything else. If that tells ya anything

The difference between this channel and most others like it is astounding. Some say that a car has been sitting for decades and when they open the hood the engine has a new carburoster or a fuel pump. They fiddle with it for a few minutes and it fires up and idles no problem. Sir Chad with your bad knees admitting mistakes and taking days or weeks to get a car to drive home is refreshing honesty.

I think the amount of work you show is perfect. I wouldn't change things to show any less. For me, these 1 to 1.5 hour vids are perfect. Also I understand going through hours of footage to get to a final product and appreciate the work you put in.

Please don't change your style of videos! For sure we want to see how you work and how it's done in your way. I agree with you, some channels are explaining what thea are gonna do, then cut and it's done, that's totally annoying. You got the right balance between footage your work and repetetive things that you already shown before!
Really enjoying your vids, they are quite unique and nice to watch, thanks a lot!

  • @Brock_Landers

To be honest, I like to see some of the work on other parts of the cars, but I like to see the majority of the work under the hood. If you don't know how to change or work on brakes, then you probably shouldn't be watching channels like this, that's what Scotty Kilmer is for. I like seeing the majority of what it takes to get the things running. I have been an ASE certified mechanic for over 20 years now, so I know what it takes, but it's fun for me to watch people do it on older cars and watch them come back to life. Just like the fact that I am a truck driver who deals with people doing dumb stuff and every day I come home and watch people do dumb stuff on dashcam footage. I like seeing other people's methods, and how they deal with certain situations. The "Will It Run" videos are always fun in my opinion.

I agree with everyone else! Post the work as that is half the fun!
I inherited my grand dads old 1972 F100 Ranger XLT with the same FE 360 engine in it. Mine had the C6 auto tranny in it. The truck was doing the EXACT same thing with appearing to be missing terribly. It turned out to be a badly worn distributor shaft allowing points chatter. Replacing that fixed all of the ignition issues. The other issue you appear to be having may be the fuel pump. My pump, though it worked when at low RPM, once you got on it hard it was sucking air in from somewhere. I replaced the pump and ALL the rubber and metal fuel lines and enjoyed many years driving it. Finally gave it to my younger brother who ended up totaling it. Keep the videos coming!

Ol' Dumas Made it! I can't wait to see what you have planned! Once you got it home, I was looking at the body, it ain't too bad. I had a 69 and same mirrors, I love them Mirrors. Have a good weekend.

That sure was an adventure. I think those cylinders with low compression came back to haunt you. Loosing awheel is a bad feeling. I had a 69 Beaumont loose the front left wheel. It jammed up into the wheel well on me. I am glad that you made it home... Cheers...!! Ken

I do like to see most of the work. The simple, mundane stuff is not necessary!! I super enjoy your videos and current format! I have got to say Ole Dumas kinda wore you out!

Yes please show most of the work. One of the reasons I've stayed with this channel is that IMHO you've got the pace and balance absolutely right. If a video has a lot of stuff in fast forward with music then I usually stop watching. Thanks! You're probably not gonna get the same answer from any two people 🤣

thats a cool old ford. I always thought the 60s- early 70s fords looked better than all the other trucks. Mid 70s- 80s chevys were definitely my favorite though. Nothing like a square body or a 70s-80s blazer/ jimmy. Quality content like usual. Quickly becoming my favorite.

That was a wild ride. Glad you made it back safe. As for your question before sure like to see the details only when they pertain to getting it up and running anything redundant can be bypassed. Learning by watching you. Great fun we'll be glad to find out what was causing the trouble. Till then. 😎👍🍮

Why ever would you think the cops would pull you over if they saw you driving that sweet old Ford? It's in great shape, it's clearly a going to town rig,...😁👍
