Absolutely love this piece! I have a very gifted piano student who is only 10 and can play this piece beautifully! Did I mention she has only been taking lessons for 3 years and she memorized the entire piece in two weeks! I am very proud of you....keep working hard...you are a delight to teach.. You are like sponge...you listen...soak in the music...then deliver ten times over! Such musical maturity for one so young..truly a gift from Jehovah...use it wisely!
*Sigh* What a beautiful, calming music. I just love this so much and for some reason it espires me to paint the sunset when I'm outside and....wow so amazing.
I recently got into the musical Hamilton. I don't know how as I've never liked rap or hiphop in THE SLIGHTEST. Yet, I've thoroughly been enjoying the soundtrack for weeks now. But to hear David Lanz play is like a breath of fresh air. It's like settling back into my element though I'd never known how far I'd left it. This is so beautiful.
That reminds me of the holy grail from sailor moon, and double the irony that this piece is called The Butterfly, those were the insects to give Sailor Moon her powers when relinquished from the grail
Guess my story was too long, lost my comment twice because it moved to another song. I miss my piano. One was damaged in storage, the electric one that fit in our apartment was great and I loved playing on it, but my son took it to his room with his friends and someone spilled a coke or soda on it and it was fried. I cried and cried. Now my son asks me what I want for Christmas, (he can afford it, even a used one) and I said, "An electric piano to replace the one you fried!!!" Still haven't gotten it. Men don't listen, some of them don't. lol I got an interesting story about that upright one. Will tell later.
This is the sweetest song I've ever heard in my whole life.
