These days music is a hobby for several just like dance and other arts. A lot of them are making videos evn without having learned basic timing, tuning and techniques.😢 Anyway. Everybody cannot take it seriously and invest years of time, luckily even if they find a nice tutor. But It's best to learn any art the right way with quality tools. Music is a hidden talent in each and every human being. Invest time, money & persistent practice thts all.
Very interesting Ekannt ji👍 Appreciated your views on both Indian n Western Classical music. I play acoustic guitar as a hobby, singing old film songs mainly. I like folk, blues n the likes. I do sing french n english songs as well. Thnx for sharing your views🙏
Hi dear Ekaant.. I have been watching your Videos since the recent past only.. As a musician and guitar teacher past 50 plus yrs.,the points you have shared for the good of the next generation and up and coming talents in guitar of different genres especially the Classical guitar is really excellent.. Very many such points are already felt and I could only share with my students in my City personally but couldn't share like this on the public front through this UA-cam source.. Good job.. 👏 Appreciate the feelings in you and the unbiased concern in to choose the right genre and go properly with that systematic material through teachers including the Sight Reading* approach for Classical guitar or Pop guitar for that matter.. Also not to compare Indian classical with Western classical is a valid point too.. 👏 Because there are a lot of irrelevant aspects which could easily misguide a student and that would be a big drawback in his progress until he realizes at some point of time in future, that, his interpretation was wrong* through some Senior musician.. Like you feel about the appreciation for Classical guitar music when performed by a Foreigner is more on UA-cam (likes) but the same when performed by us..Indians, is much less liked on UA-cam which is quite unfortunate..I also have noticed this difference or discrimination Ji.. 🤔 What to say on this..!? You have nicely high lighted the importance of Scales* (Also Arpeggios & Broken chords if I may suggest to add..) to execute a song in an effortless and graceful manner.. 👍 Thanks so much for your loving concern to your Subscribers plus all who may be interested in music/guitar Ji.. 🙏 I have been trying to learn Flamenco since about 8 Or 9 yrs through tutorial books and also UA-cam as there is no teacher to guide in my city..I am also teaching a Student side by side as he insists me out of interest for that genre.. Although both of us know Classical guitar there is a lot of difference in this Flamenco genre..Unable to get the Picado* runs still to perfection despite several hours of practice..! Let us hope we would get it one day to our satisfaction.. Warm cheers and best wishes.. 👍🙏 God bless.. 🙏😘🎸
Wonderful video, as a musician i can understand each and every word what you are trying to convey to the young serious musicians.....keep rocking bro !!!
I always wanted to learn guitar and your explanation for beginners was very helpful,..i listened to your Rhim Zhim gire Sawan rendition today. It was beautiful and now I am your latest subscriber please keep guiding us

Thank you, Ekannt Sir. We couldn't agree more with you. Every art form has grammar, and that is the structure or say skeleton of the body of any creation. Similarly, scale is a form of grammar in music.
Hi Ekaant... I really love to play guitar and I even started playing a basic guitar during my college days but unfortunately I am not able to use my 4th finger since it overlaps my another finger while using. Can I still be able to learn and play guitar rapidly?
You can practice more exercises that include four fingers to move independently in contrasting directions on the fretboard. I am sure one can overcome this problem with regular and dedicated practice.
Great video.... Indian classical music is really wonderfull all over the world...
Your music is amazing, eventhoug Im a Sri Lankan I frequently listen your 🎸 covers, keep it up bro..
Super sir
