Back when early recordings/demos of destined to be famous bands had a lo-fi mystique. Unlike now, when it's all available from the word go and recorded well. In many ways I hate the Internet and how the world has changed.
WOW!!! Thanks for sharing it :))) I love Suede since I'm twelve!!! When I was 14 I went to London just to buy Suede singles but there was no way to find this one... But who cares? instead of this I've met Bernard Butler himself on Pickadilly!!!!! He draw me a guitar and signed!!!!!! ^.^
.......ahhhhhHHHHHHHHHHHhh. This is so addictive! I love the bass, beat, oh man! I'll be your dog! How can I get this on MP3? I need it to listen to for when I wander about in the rain!
Really cool to hear such an old song, and before it began. It does not really have the significant sound that Suede had on from the Album Suede on after that. Brett sings differently. No pitched long notes.
really cool insight to what they were doing before they became more glam-ish, with more of a neo-psychadelia sound. brett sounds less confident as a vocalist
@harfarhs No, that can't be. When Joyce played with them Bernard were already in the band. And to be clear, he only played with them on a couple of demos. He was never a member.
Suede were notoriously daft at not recognising a good song and exempting them - same on coming up leaving Europe is our playground off the album they were just crazy to not recognise a good song and put out lower grade stuff instead
They were mad to leave a song like this off the debut and put in subrate stuff like animal lover or moving - this should have been the opener it’s fantastic - put on insatiable one and this and the debut becomes a five star album instead of a four star one - what plonkers!!!
thanks for watching. i'm into uploading Suede rarities... so keep in touch cos i'm looking foward to put up stuff that isn't already on youtube :D

Wow! I love this, it's more psychedelic than the better-known early stuff that went on "Suede". That wall of sound going on is cool.
This song my listen of september of 2017 .
They should do this and other rarities live, and record that live version.

and very fine pictures and structure between the visual and musical sounds...
Gorgeous

@lilestower I've always thought that it kinda sounds like a groovy High Rising.
brett can be my god if you know what i mean ;)

Thanks a lot ! I do enjoy it.

This is bloody good! Why did they never re-record it?

Awesome. I've got one of the vinyl copies that apparently managed to escape being destroyed - this is great, but I liked Art better.
great!!!

I think leaving Europe out was the right call, it doesn't fit with the material on Coming Up. Now, This Time, that's another story.
how did u get this in the 1st place lol
Mike Joyce drumming???

Brett is my human god better than Morrissey to me
Mike Joyce indeed!!
