Is it best to be in the nude while wearing cycling clothes? I bought a set and tried to wear it over my briefs and tank top, felt like I had a diaper on because it wouldn't come up the crouch area enough
Yup! For bibs in particular, you should wear them in the nude. For jerseys, depending on weather, you can wear a base layer under the cycling jersey. You definitely don't want to wear underwear while wearing a bib. Also, you'll may want to use chamois cream to prevent chaffing.
@shinobusensui9395 Yeah for sure! Generally close to the skin. A summer baselayer came to good use because it slowed down moisture and improved breathability. My ultralight wind shell served me well on those descents. It was chilly!
