Just discovered your channel yesterday and I already learned so much practical things. Great videos.
Thanks Steven, Expert advice as usual 😀
Great video - as ever - the DEHAZE tip is brilliant. I can add that your eBook is a digital gem.
Thank you very much.
Bravo, Steven. Making the best of a less-than-ideal situation. As always, you provide in your explanations the consideration of all details, including weather apps used before a shoot. You begin by providing a clear example outside of photography (in this instance beginning with a landscape painting by Pieter de Neyn) and then take us through numerous examples in your vast body of photography to discuss the tools that you employ. Compositional decisions and photographic techniques to employ in bad weather. Examples that can be understood by all of us. Keep it up!
Just come across your channel this morning, not searching just the usual algorithm putting it on my worth watching list.
Some many simple and brilliant tips and this the second I have watched is amazing. Live in UK so bad weather is a part of our character!
Thanks, Martin. I've spent time in the UK. Weather is, as you say, less than wonderful.
Finally someone talks about bad weather (or "not so good" weather ;-)). Even though I do have bought the e-book, your videos are much more "impressive" and easier to remember. Thanks for sharing your experience that way!
Thanks for your note! This is a fact of life for anyone doing this work professionally: eventually you get caught. But, fortunately, there are several ways out of trouble.
Very instructive to learn how you handle bad weather situations. Thank you.
This is absolutely wonderful information. I’ve always enjoyed your vlogs. I always walk away with something more than I didn’t. Please keep up the good work your efforts are very much appreciated.
Thank you, Mike. Much appreciated.
Great advice as always, Steven. Thankyou.
Very informative video related with the very important problem quite often faced in architectural and real estate photography. Thanks Steven for sharing your valuable ideas.
Very well presented, clear and concise. Thanks very much!
Thank you.
Love that this came out after our shoot in Palm beach was cancelled because of a hurricane that never arrived. Glad we were able to reschedule.
Like with drone piloting - good weather is a premium. So you need to charge appropriately knowing that only 100 days a year will the weather be ideal!
amazing tips, thank you very much for your work. And yes your book is really for everyone, for the beginner and the pro
As always , so helpful, happy I bought your ebook.
Still waiting for that hardcover. Hell, I'd even settle for a softcover version.
Another great video Steven. Thanks again!
edit: Just bought the pdf since I know the paper book is really a longshot. Can't wait to read it!
You can print out any or all of the e-book. There are no embedded restrictions on doing this as there are with some e-books. Again, a print version of this 360-page book would simply be too expensive for most, especially students. We are investigating a print-on-demand possibility and I will certainly let the community know if/when this is possible.
