Both kits are nice.....but I missed rivets on the airfix one.....but the bomb bay from the airfix is empty that's smart and the flaps and ruders a movable that's also cool.....whatever I like both kits And yeah it's an old Hasegawa kit🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙 have fun with the build
Thank you so much for this comparison video, as I was trying to decide between either the Revell or Airfix Heinkel. In the end I felt the Airfix Heinkel, although better overall all, didn't justify how much more it costs over the Revell kit, plus it does not come with ordnance like the Revell kit does. I am happy with my choice. 🙂
The Airfix kit is the 'P' varient and the Revell kit the later and more common 'H' varient. I understand the main difference was the engines, but I don't know how different this makes the aircraft look.
Most significant improvements in the H-6 were engines & performance, bombay (vs the P), plus more def guns including 20mm cannon in the nose and in some, gondola (optional). Probably one of the most important considerations in choosing from the two kits being reviewed here, to be historically correct for a variant which participated in die Luftschlacht um England, you need a P or up to H-3. Airfix have released the H-6 in their new tool since which would have been a better 1on 1 comparative. Ultimately it's down to the buyer's preference and what they are prepared to pay. Have to say the option of torpedos in the Airfix H-6 kit is nice though. Although overwhelming the most prolific variant produced, the H-6 wasn't produced until after the end of that campaign. I have the Revell (2004 HAS tooling) H-6. No dog in the which is better fight though as I think it's moot other than to say I prefer HAS kits generally. Airfix's instructions in the particular give me the ICK. Ultimately I'd rather have a HAS P or early H variant though, but I wasn't paying HAS prices for either of them. Nor am I paying the crazy Airfix prices in my country. That's been resolved as moot in any case as I don't build 1/72 any more. Too old. Don't enjoy it. If I ever buy another He 111 to build before I kick the bucket, much as I'd like Revell's (2011) 1/32 P-1 if they ever re-release it, to fit in with my other medium twins e.g. He 219, Bf 110, Me 410, Ki-46, Ki-45, Mosquito et al and that which most closely replicates similar sized aircraft to the He 111 the G4M which is getting pretty display shelf space hogging large even in 1/48, it'll probably be an ICM 1/48 H-3 from what's on offer at this time.
:/ airfix forget stuff :( like a 5 gun the mak arms for the maniken and the payload ! 8 b0bs. :/ tat was realy a shame ! wye ? i pay for them if nessesery but i wandt a accurat model.
Very nice. I have three in the stash and one of them is the Revell kit. Thanks for the look. The Airfix kit looks amazing!
Both look good. Can't wait to see the build vid
It's coming along nicely
Very nice kits! Good video! Thanks !
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks Roland 😃👍🏻

I'm so glad it was useful 😀👍
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it. The Airifx build video should be up soon too. And also, thanks for subscribing 😃👍🏻

When's the build video coming?
Very soon. I see you've already seen the short I posted of the finished kit
The Revell kit is actually a reboxed Hasegawa kit.
Absolutely! I call that out in the description 😃👍
Me thinks airfix could make a luftwaffe airfiled/bomber loading set like the RAF and USAAF sets.
@@pauldottore5273 that's a great shout. I completely agree.
does anyone know the number of parts in the Revell box? thank you
157 parts according to the box 😁👍🏻
thanks@@The_Male_Modeller
Единственный минус... в этих наборах нет свастики в декалях...У ,хасегавы, - есть!!😮
Revell is German and to display Nazi insignia in Germany is a criminal offence. There are many aftermarket alternatives for the Hakenkreuz

The Airfix Kit is better!
Yeah I'm nearly there with the build and it's one of the best airfix kits I've built. I'm really enjoying it!
