I like the jazz feeling to it while also keeping the original tense impact from it. Im starting to think this is the best version of Asgore's theme. Good job!

I kinda wish Asgore using the human souls to pulverize you was how the Genocide ending went. It'd be fun if after the grueling slog of the genocide run, you just weren't allowed to have an ending lmfao. From an unfair battle with Sans to an unwinnable battle with Asgore.
Defeats everything that the Genocide ending has to offer (Chara, False True Pacifist Ending, glorious Erasure, and showing how much of a monster you really are.) But still, cool idea!
Well, the whole point of Genocide is to be unsatisfying I feel. It's why the route is so horrendously boring outside of the two actual boss fights because every other boss gets killed in one turn. So I feel like it'd offer a different sort of punch to the nuts; depriving you of your ability to beat the game due to your decisions. You wanna see the credits? After they absolutely molly wop Asgore, they reveal their true intentions for this world, and you are faced with the consequences of your actions. You were so desperate to see what happened next that you gave your soul to a deamon.
while I'm sure we all were disappointed at the end of genocide when he just didn't fight us, and seeing a fight against Asgore would have been sick as hell, its very in character for him to not fight the human. maybe if hard mode ever got fully made

He breaks the item button and prevents you from healing, and it doesn't pull a fan game asgore fight thing where you have to piece it back together, it's just GONE, his attacks do alot of damage and acts don't decrease it, the pie makes his attack INCREASE bc the smell reminds him of what he's fighting for.
This is so sorrowful its exactly how I imagine a asgore fight going, i imagine he truly steps up to the task and is the king he needs to be but can barely handle it, he's lost his entire kingdom, and he's truly the last defense against you.
In my head cannon, the genocide fight with asgore he would realistically not use the souls, I imagine he just wouldn't have the prep time too, but he manages to stand against you with pure determination and the will to destroy you for what you've done to his people.
