- If you want to know, How to make a Rabbit Stick, then this video is for you. As I said in the video, the video could be also titeled How to make a Throwing Stick or also How to make a Boomerang that doesn't return.
I decided to make this rabbit stick with no power tools, to get a real feeling, how much work our ancestors were putting into this kind of projects.

So, do rabbits fly where you are? Where I hunt rabbits, they are a ground based target, say, about 10 to 25 yards out. Your boomerang seems to be a bird stick.

You forgot to mention what kind of oil you were rubbing on the wood there at the end. Still that's a fine looking rabbit stick.

Throw stick looks great, but it does not fly. It should not tumble in flight, but spin flat and sail for a long ways.
Not sure what’s wrong with yours… maybe it’s a balance issue or it is too wide? Not sure how to help you, but it is a true joy when they actually fly.
Yes. It is a balance issue. When I made a smaller and more massive one it flew much better. With the big ones a small mistake makes iz fly bad, but it's still a joy to build. Best regards from Slovenia.

I think you made a right handed rabbit stick and you’re left handed.
I have no idea :-). Maybe it is still right, because recorded the whole thing with the lense that is pointing towards me and this means the video is recorded mirror like.
Do rabbits fly?
