Hi Ridha, turbo was a Holset H2X, comparable with HX50. Compressor inducer 60mm, turbine exducer 72mm, turbine housing 22cm2, A/R unknown. Don't remember the ignition timing exactly but was something around 17 degrees advance at full boost on euro98 pump gas and low compressor (~8,2:1). Wouldn't go with this turbo again, Borgwarner EFR is the way to go but they aren't cheap. (although that is for a good reason) Building a new turbo project at the moment (E28 M60)
I did, it sustained for a while but it eventually broke (input shaft bearing). It had ~350hp round that time. You can be fortunate but the 260/5 will probably break and the 260/6 will probably hold ;)
She moves! 😁
holy shit that acceleration. I would probably shit my self.
What turbo do u use? A/r on exhaust? Ign timing under full boost?

Thanks for your reply it was very helpful!
Sick! Takeing a 10 liter fuel to do that rip 😀
fuel gauge drops
yes correct, caused by the acceleration forces which draw the fuel away from the sensor
@@nickdoesburgYeah, but after the acceleration when it returned back you can see it still dropped by width of the needle.
it takes quarter of a tank of fuel to do that :D
That's smooth
what transmission are you using here
Hi, this is a Getrag 260/6 (five speed) from a 735i E32 of 535i E34. Very strong gearboxes, not to be confused with the weak 260/5 (stock E28 (M)535i)
Did you start with the stock /5 from the m535. I cant find any reliable info on how strong they really are, I'm hoping it'll handle around 400whp

Prüfstand!!!
Zieke Video! Subje erbij bro!
slow
A stock one is slower
