I saw this mcountdown episode live, and i was POSITIVE that babymonster was gonna win. And i got shocked when illit won. BM had a HUGE lead in the pre-vote, and even during the live when they showed the mid-result, BM had 92% of votes and Illit at 8%. Honestly didn't even watch all of illits encore stage, since i stopped watching like 30 seconds into the encore. I mean, quite honestly, i didnt know how i felt about illits new song, i did like Magnetic more than that. But i do sincerely hope that babymonster takes a win next time. Even though it will probably be tough competition with a few popular groups coming back.

HYBE is debuting groups every year and they don’t get proper vocal training coaches, so that’s all on HYBE for being a terrible company. Companies like SM, JYP, and YG have good singers because they train them well. HYBE is just a mess right now in my opinion, I don’t even plan on ever stanning illit, but I already have 3 biases in baby monster.

Give them time? Bro that's what trainee days are for. After their debut, they should Improve from being good to becoming their best version, not from being horrible to mildly acceptable. Companies should understand that and let the actually talented trainees make their debut instead. Illit, with no doubt, clearly needs a lot of practice with their on stage singing. They are all visually fine as hell. But talent is also important. Even their live dance is great. But kpop is famous for certain things. And one of its most unique factors is on stage singing all while doing a hardcore dance and somehow kpop idols manage to keep their vocals stable. One of the things that attracted me towards kpop actually. You don't usually find this in the western culture. But let's be real, one of the few performances of the Survival show that illit participated in, was unfair. Illit's vocals we're just so off tune and embarrassing to listen to. They are just kids, they can improve at a fast speed and im not saying that we should drag them down or smth. but just stating how the kpop industry can be so toxic and unfair. Talent/training and visuals vs. Visual impact only BM had been training for years before their debut. Unis have a mix of talented and experienced members in either idol groups, dancing, and/or singing. Illit seems so under trained at this point. Although I love their concept it just seems that their debut could have been delayed a little longer for them to be more ready. Also I am excited for the new group that will form under the I-land 2 n/a show, I hope it's not also only based off of visual.

well first of all, “magnetic” is a really bouncy choreography and some of their vocals weren’t stable with bouncy dancing. watch their pre debut songs and they sing good. magnetic has a lighter tone of voice and most of them don’t sing in that tone so they’re not used to it. meanwhile minju was a former YG trainee and yunah i don’t remember.. but they’re really good singers. they’re all good singers but HYBE is making them use like cute concept. therefore they’re not bad singers it’s just the song

Companies like SM, JYP, and YG have good singers because they train them well. Give them time? Bro that's what trainee days are for. After their debut, they should Improve from being good to becoming their best version, not from being horrible to mildly acceptable. Companies should understand that and let the actually talented trainees make their debut instead. Illit, with no doubt, clearly needs a lot of practice with their on stage singing. They are all visually fine as hell. But talent is also important. Even their live dance is great. But kpop is famous for certain things. And one of its most unique factors is on stage singing all while doing a hardcore dance and somehow kpop idols manage to keep their vocals stable. One of the things that attracted me towards kpop actually. You don't usually find this in the western culture. But let's be real, one of the few performances of the Survival show that illit participated in, was unfair. Illit's vocals we're just so off tune and embarrassing to listen to. They are just kids, they can improve at a fast speed and im not saying that we should drag them down or smth. but just stating how the kpop industry can be so toxic and unfair. well first of all, “magnetic” is a really bouncy choreography and some of their vocals weren’t stable with bouncy dancing. watch their pre debut songs and they sing good. magnetic has a lighter tone of voice and most of them don’t sing in that tone so they’re not used to it. meanwhile minju was a former YG trainee and yunah i don’t remember.. but they’re really good singers. they’re all good singers but HYBE is making them use like cute concept. therefore they’re not bad singers it’s just the song
