Great classic game. Get's WICKED hard after the first few levels but it's still a lot of fun. I play it, or at least attempt to, just about every time I fire up my Super Retro-cade console. Thanks for the video and great gameplay.
I used to be very good. One quarter and many free lives! There were only 2 good players in the mall in Albany, NY; Me and a soldier. I wonder what happened to him!
Any idea how to control what letters appear when you get the prize at the top? (al la Mr Do!) Can't seem to get enough extra men in this game. Nice play btw, although i wonder why you stopped playing. My personal best is 60k
I hear you, however when you show more skill along with higher levels it will show more tricks in the game....beating multiple blue monsters...racking up the letters and getting the diamond. If I knew how to record playing the game and post it on youtube I would be more than happy to contribute showing this great game.
You are not very good on this session of play. On level what were you doing staying all the way at the bottom dying ? I usually get on the level mid 20`s on this....

I used to play this at a local Kroger store when this game debuted. Fun times.

Very heavy difficult game, but i was young and Mr. "King" Do.
@Dinosaurprince there is an early version without cherries, and also a game called "Mr. Do vs the Unicorns"
@MamePlayer any chance of posting a deep run on this - i'm sure there are quite a few people who'd love to see one - atm there aren't any on youtube.
