Kindred | Supercorp [Medieval Soulmates AU: Kara/Morgana, Supergirl x Merlin crossover]

- First off, a million thanks to anyone who actually feels compelled to stick through the full (almost) 12 minutes of this thing!! It's been a fanfic idea that's been rattling around in my brain, only I don't actually write, so this was the next closest thing.
Anyway, here's the basic premise of the story:
Morgana Pendragon lives a life of constant fear, oppression, and abuse at the hands of all those around her (Uther, Arthur, and, yes, even [and especially] Merlin) until one day a mysterious stranger, a female knight, appears in Camelot. For any Merlin fans...yes, in a way, I'm definitely "ripping off" Morgause's character for this knight version of Kara's character, but I thought the idea to change/expand on the said character was pretty cool. So, Kara, whose backstory is (hopefully) clearly explained in the video, comes into Morgana's life, and the two of them come into a very interesting destiny together. Hope y'all enjoy!!

I kinda feel that Kara's natural true-blue Super-goodness would temper Morgana's ambition just a little.
"I will destroy Arthur and CONQUER CAMELOT!"

A blue-eyed, blonde woman flying through the skies of Medieval England? Her very KNOWN PRESENCE would shake the foundations of the Catholic Church as the people know it. To say nothing about the child of the king bedding said heroic "angel."
This is the only medeavil supercorp video that utilized the fact that Merlin had a character named Kara. Brilliant!!! You did a great job 👏🏼

Nessa Lyssa I’m not a writer either but I have written a few fan fiction All need is make a list the beginning, middle, and end of the story and how the character interact. you just need have good plot and the fact already you made this video proves you have a good plot story to make it like how Kara ended up in Camelot but if your going to maybe have partner/ friend to help you cause you know two heads are better than one

It's like the fanfics of Morgana/Kara pairing I read and they are freaking amazing! Cadentibus Astris is my personal favorite.

If Morgana in this story of yours is entering into a romantic relationship with Kara, they'd likely discuss Kara's "old country" as it is clear that Kara's an immigrant, and how she came to be here on this globe.

I recently read a fan fic that used your outline, they even credited you. But they made a very important change. They still had Morgause try to lure Morgana only this time, Kara was there and while she didn't stop Morgana from necessarily getting to know her sister, she gave her another way to control the dreams and warned Morgause about trying to corrupt Morgana. Morgause had to change her plans in this story because with Kara as her protector, Morgana stayed on the right path
I had thought that maybe either Katy or Melissa was why they didn't have Kara and Lena hook up. I forgot Katy did girl on girl scene in several things. I believe Melissa has as well. So there goes that theory. So it really was the crap writers lol

They might not be killed for Kara being attributed to having magical gifts; even in the faith of those days and that country there're ways around that- like proving the person to be loyal to the Cross of Christ for instance, and the standards intrinsic to it... but as far as practicing homosexual acts... that'd be a death-sentence to them, and especially to Morgana, due to her place in society. As well as it'd set up an excuse for war by their neighbors- that the King's stepdaughter is "bedding" another woman; that kind of gossip would do it, especially if proven, and if it reaches the Vatican, may end with Camelot's government being expelled from the Church for tolerating that nonsense in terms of behavior.

It's clear to me that Morgana and Lena were written similarly and both had heroes like Kara and Merlin who tried to help them. Morgana and Lena both were destined to do terrible things. The difference in my opinion was Kara Danvers. Both Merlin and Kara hid who they were, both kept a dual identity from Lena and Morgana which caused both to turn dark. The difference, Kara didn't abandon Lena, she doubted her at times, but never fully abandoned her despite everyone telling her Lena was bad. Merlin listened to the dragon, he abandoned Morgana. Morgana only turned to her sister because everyone she trusted abandoned her. Kara wouldn't let their family abandon Lena, she never truly gave up

In reference to masculinity on Uther's part, he's an abject failure; I do not mean at all that he shouldn't discipline Morgana, but he is, in fact, her stepdad- that bond wasn't that unusual in their day, but not manning up and acknowledging it *is* an abject failure as a man- but as her daddy, he's charged with her moral development, and thus he's obliged to reign her in if need be (such as confining her to her room if needed), but if that enables or encourages her to "telephone demons" then that's a failure as a discipline in the most extreme ever... in that case getting her good solid theological study books might be a far more effective correction of his adopted kid.

Not a fan of all their conduct, but I do also grasp quite clearly how Morgana's terrified of her gifts; which in all likelihood, they'd get her interviewed by the local pastor to try to aid her in controlling- which's what the Inquisition really was historically-speaking... but when you go bad, which these gals have, morals tend to flee you rapidly whenever you betray them, and thus yourself.
These two girls are betraying themselves to a paramount degree by the end of this video you have here.
But I'd like very much to see what story you write, when you do write it; as writing will, I'm sure, take up less time than making a video, just to find out what's going on in your head. I know well that I'm devoid of control over yourself, never had any to begin with, and frankly, don't want any, as that's too much to control, and too much bother to worry about; but with that gone goes away any responsibility for yourself or your actions- and that loss is mutual, due to us being two different people.

@@nessalyssa1937 Not really criticism at that; for as a storyline I support this trajectory- if anything I'm criticizing the only thing in that is the *solution* that Uther has engaged in in these matters, including what he chose to do regarding his own stepdaughter, Morgana.
As making a *story* you did a wonderful job, so please don't freak out; this's a brilliant idea, and as it turns out, there appears to sadly be a positive correlation between lesbianism and witchcraft that's absolutely detrimental to the women who engage in them- like playing with drugs at that. And its scary for those of them who're trying to remain even remotely moral, such as Samantha Arias in "Supergirl" when she's still trying to behave herself... for I understand dictators, and that type won't permit any possible resistance to their rule, so the devil rapidly takes over anyone who gives himself to it, and removes and destroys any and all morals inside the person as rapidly as possible; with the aim of annexing them into its service... as virtues are the only things that'd enable a human to stand up to that gangster seraph that occultists in reality are in contact with, whether or not they know if it. If they do not know of it, then there's some degree of protection for them, but if they do so knowingly and deliberately, then like if Morgana fools around with spells, her stepdad won't be able to protect her from her gang masters- and those're sadists in the extreme!
Maybe Morgana winding up in contact with her family's pastor, the Archbishop of Canterbury and thus the Papal representitive to England would be most helpful to her in her straightening out her relationships in this matter, come to think of it; for if she casts but a single spell, the price is that the demon gets free use of her for anything it needs- possession for short, and it also takes her soul to what amounts to a "Hell Dimension" for "Hell" is but a state of being, of being in mortal sin to be honest. And a dimension is a different state of being.
