I love how they didn’t go with the “unappreciative, lazy/bad husband” trope for this one. Norman might not pay enough attention to Rosita, but simply because he’s overworked and constantly tired. He still loves his wife.
Strongly agree, it would have been so easy for them to go with that trope and then make Gunther the new man that Rosita falls in love with. But they didn't. And I'm so glad they didn't.
I know i supposed to be blown away by the amazing invention she has made, but the fact that nobody in the house notice that their mom's gone makes me really sad..
A routine can be so consuming that you barely register anything different unless the cycle is disrupted. It’s our brain’s way of forming our own instincts to follow what we think keeps us stable/surviving. Like how certain animals are in a constant cycle of nothing but hibernating and then preparing for the next hibernation.
This scene is both incredible and kinda sad. On the one hand it’s amazing she did that all on her own without any help and figured it out. However, it’s depressing that no one seems to notice that she’s not there.
True but they have 25 kids to support. Her husband is so tired from working so much and living life on repeat. We see it when he comes home. So it’s definitely sad like dang is she just seen as a servant to her family? However, it’s kind of understandable. The kids are so young that they probably wouldn’t really know how to show appreciation yet. And…idk why I’m talking about this like it’s real life.
Its so sad that she works so hard all day and when she wants to talk to her husband, hes already tired!! Does anyone including her husband realise her hard work? She assembled the machinery so well that people didnt notice she was absent. That shouts out her skill not only that she is able to work 10 times hard at house looking after 25 piglets but also good in tech when needs be. Later on she would prove herself as a great singer and dancer. A mother is everything!!❤
Do you not even realize how hard someone has to work to provide for a family of 27? Why does she get all the credit for raising the family when he’s working just as hard?
Okay for one Rosita was already very productive before the contest, so one difference to ur daily routine going unnoticed is harmless. And In Norman's defense, he appears to be having frustrations at work so he must’ve been exhausted more mentally then physically. Plus we should give the kids props for not getting scared of the machine despite looking to be around ages 5 to 9.
She is a genius and a very sweet talented lady ........... her babies are actually very well behaved and adorable despite being a big group , they always listen to her
I full heartedly believe she is above Einstein level IQ. Here’s why. Reason 1: She engineered a full blown contraption that goes over the day flawlessly to the point where nobody even noticed she was gone. Reason 2: This only took one night. A gifted and experienced engineer would need more time than that to make such a precise design that can last a day without flaws. She wasn’t even tired the next day, which would suggest that she probably didn’t struggled at all in making it. Reason 3: She’s extremely good at dancing and singing. This suggests that not only is she coordinated in hand crafting the machine, she is also coordinated in leg movements as well, which means that she’s just very gifted in general.
There are countless reasons on why Rosita is my favorite character in the entire "Sing" franchise. 🙂 Rosita is definitely my type of woman in which I wouldn't mind dating and having her as my wife.
I do appreciate how they showed Norman does care about and love Rosita, complimenting her and never having a short temper with her or the kids. They could have made him a real jerk and like there was a deeper problem in the marriage aside from life getting in the way and the two of them having to learn to find time for themselves again.
I’m willing to forgive him. When you have THAT many kids, EVERYBODY survives on routine. The fact she said “That bad? Really?” When he groaned tells us that this reaction is unusual for him. He at least compliments her pies before passing out. It was just poor timing. She happened to audition right when he had the worst day at work ever. Everybody would’ve noticed her absence eventually but they’re surviving on routine for now. At the end she’s relieved and satisfied that her machine worked, not sad that she wasn’t needed. She BUILT the dang thing! He said “Same as always” and she was happy it worked. Then he compliments her again, patting her leg. “I don’t know how you do it all, honey.” And she smiles. Plus, he DID take the kids to see her sing later!
Esa escena me impactó demasiado. Increíble como no notaron su ausencia. Todo funcionaba en automático Por eso es que hay que sacar el tiempo y no olvidarnos de nosotras las madres. Al final todo sigue si agitado curso. Triste, pero también muy reflectiva.
I wouldn't mind babysitting them either.😁Maybe to calm their hyper personality, I could use dolphin meditation to help them sleep like I usually do myself.
Can we make a film with piglets like these as main caracter ? My little girl is in love with this movie and the second because of those pigs.. ! I'm watching it 10 times a week
Did anyone notice how she’s reading the 3 little pigs to the piglets? In this world, wolves are citizens too, so I wonder if this affects their views on wolves, especially when Porsha (a wolf) is now a new member of the Moon Troupe
I can hear the noise of drilling, sawing and hammering through the night. Rosita built a lot of machines everywhere in her apartment, and recorded her voice. Then she put the recording in the piglets' bedroom and put the megaphones in the kitchen, so they could hear her voice, although she was gone to sing in the Moon Theatre. In the morning, the alarm clock rang and the curtains opened. Rosita woke them up and the machines in the kitchen made cereal and milk for breakfast for the piglets, while they were getting dressed. Then they all came down in the kitchen at once, they couldn't wait to have breakfast. When they were having breakfast, Norman came to ask Rosita for the car keys, and she said they're in his coat pocket. Then, the table was cleared and the bowls were washed-up, while the piglets stood up and the machines went round and round and grabbed the rucksacks for the piglets. When they were all out, the door closed. At night, before bedtime, Rosita, in the registrator, softly told her children the bedtime story. It was "The 3 Little Pigs". Then she came in the room to see if their piglets are asleep. She could hear them snoring, so they were.
She shoudn't pursue a career in singing, she should pursue a career in engineering. That machine she set up was an incredible piece of factory automation.
