After 35 years of teaching, being retired is the BOMB diggity vibes! 😃😃 Earaches/toothaches are the worst! My parents said at 18 months, I jumped in the water, came up saying…again, again. They put shoes on me to fit in the waterski at five and I have skied ever since!

Summer is overrated!!!Being retired is the BOMB now that I have retired. We always celebrate our June anniversary in May right before Memorial Day!!

If you continue with bad summer vacation stories, let me take you back to 1973 when we drove to Colorado, mom, dad, sister and me. We are swimming in a hotel pool and it starts hailing. We drive to the bottom of Pile’s Peak and my dad is ridiculously angered by the price of four to take the lift. He says, forget this, we are going back home to Texas, get our boat, and go to the lake.
When we get home, we turn out the lights and go to bed. Meanwhile, my Barney Fife volunteer police officer gets home, sees the lights are all off, drives around for hours….😂scared. He finally gets the courage to go to the garage door, look in, see we came home early, comes in and goes to bed. Can’t believe he admitted that!!!
