Hey Ora,
That is a peace lily and btdubbs, it might just be the drama queen of plants. It always acts likes its dying but its just thirsty. It doesn't like too much sunlight and bottom feeding it is the best. Just add like a cup of water every 2nd day (you don't want to over-hydrate it cause that also causes them to turn yellow at the tips). Your girl should be fine :) you can also spray the leaves a little with water or avo/olive oil as a water retainer. Also put it close to the window when it rains. They love it :)

A peace Lily, don't over water (therefore the tips), don't put it in direct sunlight either, get a spray bottle when you water the plant leaves, water only once a week unless it shows you it's wilty if you feel like the pot is too small get a larger planter pot.

Hi Ora, proper plant mommy here lol I have 4 house plants and I’m currently growing an avocado seedling so trust me when I say that Peace Lillie’s (I have one) can seem like difficult plants to take care of but their very resilient. Just give her a cup of water every other night and keep her in indirect sunlight (especially if you don’t want her leaves to go green quickly). You’ll love it I promise

Hey Ora! Welcome to plant parenthood 😂The plant is a Peace Lily & also my personal fave. Water is this plants best friend, so if you can just keep up with constant hydration in the morning or even at night if you forget to water it in the morning literally on a daily basis it should be healthy and keep growing! You can also use a little olive oil to wipe the leaves to keep them clean and healthy once in a while 🪴
Fun Fact: they’re great air purifiers! ❤
