@@og2shankz985 - Agreed. Compared to what our grandparents and great-grandparents lived through with the depression, WW2, Korea, Vietnam, etc. the pandemic is a walk in the park. Previous generations were asked to die for their country while we were asked to park our asses on our couches and stay in quarantine. It's called perspective.

I'm Australian and we had 6 lockdowns here in Melbourne 267 days in total, but our government gave everyone financial support and we all have free healthcare here so I'm thankful for that, we had mask and vaccine mandates but we all didn't mind

Well let’s be honest, 2020 was a crap year by modern standards, but there have been far far worse times.
I feel our modern obsession with constant information feeds isn't a true reflection on reality. Most of the years we spend are pretty much the same - We will make it through this and come out stronger!

I am an introvert..and though sad about pandemic and it's impact on people's lives. M bit overwhelmed in rejoining office on premise. I did my work peacefully..I didn't have to waste my energy in commute I had that time to connect with those I always felt like connecting to but never had time. Talk to neighbours.

2021 marked a tsunami of solemn anniversaries including a year into the COVID-19 Pandemic as well as 2 decades since 9/11! And not only that, but 2021, was just about as unprecedented as 2020, though things did have somewhat gotten under control. It wasn't until 2022 and/or 2023 when things gradually returned to normal.
Started my employment at a long-term care facility right before covid ....wow I was so not prepared for what came after. For me the worst time was November 2020 it went through the facility like wild fire. Residents amd staff getting infected. Thought it was over then 2022 happened all over again at a different facility I just started working.
One new way i've been skipping ads is i tap the video after it starts playing, then drag the red dot at the bottom and drop it after the first yellow(ad) marker, then right after the video finishes buffering ,I pick up the dot and drag it past the next yellow (ad ) marker. do this for every ad except the last one that does not have enough space to drop past it and the final step is to drag it to the beginning of the video and youtube thinks I watched the ads.
I downloaded Ad block plus & I haven't seen one advert, best download I've ever done. ☺
Just a suggestion but if you just go to ad blocker plus for free you can download it. I haven't seen a You tube ad in 8 years. Its free and doesn't interfere with your browsing and keeps all ads from playing or pop ups. You can also turn it off if you want on certain sites that you want the ads. Just a suggestion. Really. Was there ever a divide between the rich and poor in the USA. Your country is in turmoil. Your politicians have no idea. Our PM got it right from the start. He called it a pandemic from the start before it spread to the USA. Closed our international borders. Aussies still cannot leave the country. He followed the health advice. I hate the positive spin this doc put on everything; like all the events that happened suddenly errupred in 2020, and then we're overcome. I hate that it used the tamest footage and spins of the worst of what was happening. Portland fought for months; where's the footage of the uprising in Minneapolis as we fought the state for a week before brutally being out down. Most of what's seen is just marches and some singer completely glossing over the righteous rage. Thousands were arrested and hundreds wounded by cops. Something like 25 people were killed during the uprisings. What poor coverage on social upheaval that hasn't been seen since 1968.
You need to make your own documentary that has the spin you want.
