No but for reals this is my favorite fighting game character period.
Theres something really satisfying about pushing someone into the corner and then messing up your web combo and still having it work out anyways. Under Night is such a sick game.

I love that Byakuya's new CSS art has his back turned and only him looking and smiling at you sinisterly from behind. Makes him feel more distant and less human which is fitting for a ruthless killer like he is, but less so for a middle schooler.

And his theme FUCKS, my god, Beat Eat Nest is a BANGER. Tied with Enkidu for my favorite theme in the game. RAITO DOES NOT MISS.

He's not searching for his sister, but rather helping "Tsukuyomi" find her friend (?) Zohar.
Its a mutual relationship. He goes looking for his sister, tsukyomi goes to find her friend

Byakuya is such a neat character +playstyle, so I’m kinda sad so much about him is a mystery (or at least feels like it is). Hope he gets more fleshed out later on

Nobody seems to have mentioned that it is _heavily_ implied that Byakuya is a cannibal, eating the people he murders, judging by his movelist names, win quotes, and the like. The biggest evidence for this is IMO Orie's arcade story. In her third fight, she defeats Byakuya when he and Tsukuyomi attack her after a short conversation. If my memory serves:
(Referring to Orie) "Hey sis, let's just eat this one. She's far too irritating"
"You're right, Byakuya, she knows too much. Go ahead and devour her. Just don't leave any trace of her remains."
Edit: its also funny in this scene how lightly Orie takes this terrifying threat. She's just like, "I don't want to start needless fights, but I guess if you're going to try and kill me, I have no choice."
