I ran at the mid 10s level before my a340 gave up the ghost, had the same FTI converter too ! Best off the shelf converter for that box
@Joe Blow I've replaced it with a bulletproof th400 and its the tits haha
Was this a stock transmission...just with the upgraded converter?
@@duanerdyer1 it had a stage 2 MV shift kit, shimmed accumulators and an extra large Transcoolers, besides the stally. No additional clutches or upgraded hard-parts were utilised as far as I know.

Just finished my 1.5jz for my 90 Supra. Is300 2j block, Acl main .001 bearings, king .001 race rod bearings, k1 technologies rods, stock 1jz piston, BC valve train and 272 cams on Ecu masters emu black. Can’t wait to see the power it makes
Do you run stock timing tensioner bracket or go to billet

Sucks I has meant to have my car go in last month to have heltech 2500 put in and remap but gforce and then it’s become illegal for me to work

@@ayycee5303 Don't you know? According to the internet, Mk4 Supras were claimed by Toyota to only make 276PS from the factory, but the "truth" is that they typically made somewhere around infinity.

I just bought an MA70 supra with the a340, this is some ultimate inspo. Not gonna try and pump a stock 7MGTE rotating assembly to 500kw tho ahaha

Iv run 600whp with a very similar set up to what gerado has. Shift kit and stall, and never had any issues, it was also my daily.
@@chryspaps4140 Im still on stock twins, i have no plans to do a single turbo yet, no $$, maybe when i hit that $100k scratch off ticket then YES.
