• Ladakh Series-1: Strat...
This video explains the three major physical barriers which impact the road connectivity between Daulat Beg Old (DBO) Sector and Leh, the capital of Union Territory of Ladakh.
These natural barriers not only present physical and engineering challenge, but also define the alignment of any potential road development.
These tree main barriers are the Ladakh Range, extension of the mighty Karakorum Range and the Shyok river.
In addition, we also look at the alignment of historic trade route between Leh and Yarkand and Kashgar in present day Xinjiang province of China.
This analysis is precursor to subsequent video which explains in details the road connectivity between Leh and the DBO Sector.

Deeply informative👍
the most detailed and clear explanation so far on the terrain and the connectivity challenges. Wonderful.
Pure knowledge and Quality with out any noice.
thankyou sir 🙏
अब तक का सबसे विस्तृत विवरण वाला वीडियो।बहुत अच्छी तरह से समझाया गया।अग्ला वीडियो कहां है।उसका इंतज़ार है। धन्यवाद।
Excellent Video. Shows the challenges that India faces when accessing the border with Tibet. Movement of men and material from Leh to DBO or Galwan is extremely tough due to geographical barriers.
Excellent video and details 👍🙏
Very well elucidated. Some of my confusions got cleared
It's reality show with Lovely english n fully explained the carvan cultural route so finally china has no right on it bcs Dogra King Gulabsing expelled china from Tibet areas with promising in wrighting n main culprit is Pakistan army. Thx for vdo🔥🙏🇮🇳🙏❤️🔥😎
Superb explanation 👍
The best explanation sir....
Great video
Great presentation 👍👍
Excellent
Superb!
Great explanation.... Eagerly waiting for the next video.... Sir I wanted your opinion on Depsang sector. You have said it gives us a foothold to aksai chin. But as you have just said due to the immense challenge posed by physical barriers it would be very difficult to protect it during conflict. Chinese on the other hand have large flat areas helping in movement of personnel's and armour. We must protect it but isn't it too high a cost to be able to mount an offensive (if any happens to). I am a mostly uninformed chap please bear and correct me if I made any naive statement. Thanks sir. You are doing a great job. Amazing content
While you're correct about the challenges of holding DBO Sector (its main issue is that it lacks depth), troops and equipment would be inducted much before the conflict starts. Further, since we know that we might not be able to keep the communication lines open, the sector is reinforced in a manner so that it can operate on a stand-alone basis. And smaller area (relatively speaking) makes for compact defense. I will elaborate on it in the video.
@@ThePerspective123 thanks for replying.... Looking forward on next videos...
Please do an analysis like this for the Akshai Chin region and the Ngari Perfecture it would be interesting to know what geographic challenges they face on the other side and how it can be exploited.
Let me complete the DBO series. Post that, I'll be covering other Eastern Ladakh Sectors and Chinese perspective, including their armed forces.
@@ThePerspective123 Thank you so much, have a great day ahead.
Sir why u stopped making more videos..please sir share more knowledge...

That would be the biggest compliment!

Rohit, sometimes it feels nice to see the video of the presenter also ! Graphics can be added in another pane.
I'm still learning the tricks of making and editing videos. Will be doing the needful sometime soon. Thanks.
Sir, I sat through for 1 month & traced all visible roads & tracks of China & India on Google Earth in Ladakh/Aksai Chin...
Since you're preparing videos of that area, it may be useful to you...
In case you want to have a look, you may DM me your mail id, I'll send the kmz file...
Can you send me?
Thanks for the generous offer. I've myself mapped the entire Chinese infra in the Eastern Ladakh sector.
China has come 18-29 km deep inside Depsang plains on 🇮🇳 territory, as told by Panag sir. So, if the breadth is 50 km in Depsang plains, then they indeed have captured 1000 sq km of Indian territory.
Its an area size of New Delhi. This is an area 2/3 of total area India captured in 1965 after weeks of fighting and 🇨🇳 has captured it in a single strike while our liar PM says no intrusion.
