Dora, I am totally in love with your channel, you are AMAZING! Thank you for sharing your talents and knowledge with us. You make making bath bombs so much more fun, and adventurous.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I made the bath powder, but added an equal amount of modified tapioca starch to set the fragrance since I had some on hand. This bubble bath powder is perfect. I just finished another sample batch with melted cocoa butter and cocamidopropyl betaine in place of the liquid bubble bath. Keeping my fingers crossed that this batch turns out just as well as my first sample batch.
1. What is liquid bubble bath? Is this something we can get at our local stores? 2. What does the skin feel like afterwards? I recently did your "hard as rock" bath bomb recipe and didn't love the feel of my skin after. Used a little almond oil in it too but still felt - sticky? Wondering if you have an idea of what caused that - poly 80 or SLSA. Also used arrowroot as the filler. 3. Can you add an oil/hard oil crumble or something to this to help moisturize? I guess we could just the texture would change. Thanks in advance!
Hello, I love your channel and can't wait to try your recipes. Everything you make looks so fun and amazing. You should definitely sell them. Thank you for sharing your ideas.
I used this idea to make 'beach sand' to fill the gaps between moulded bubble bath shells, fish, flip flops, icecreams, beach balls, sunglasses, surf boards... anything beachy in clear glass jars for my daughters/daughter in laws. I'm going to do the same with a jungle/dinosaurs for my grand kids and currently working on flowers and leaves ones which I'll give to family and save one for myself as well as currently making junk food jars... cookies, icecreams, different candies, cupcakes etc.
Thank you for sharing this awesome recipe..it works phenomenal! I was wondering..are there any other recipes on your channel that I could add this bubble bath powder too? Like is this what you add to the bubbling salts?
Love this tutorial. I'm slowing watching all your vids during my non-working hours. Can you suggest or do you know of another bubble bath as the one you posted is currently unavailable. Thanks so much for sharing your talents!!!
I feel like a total stalker to your channel. I love how creative you are and I’m amazed. I can’t even cook with out a recipe!!!!! I don’t create anything but the humans I made 😂 I swear I can’t substitute things or I ruin a basic batch of cookies. I can’t fathom sorting out soap and lotion ingredients to do these different things etc. it’s a talent for sure and I’m enjoying so ignore the notifications. I might be here awhile
Love it, as usual! I wonder - would you make a tutorial on in-shower lotion that you squeeze out? Like the Nivea brand? I've been searching and I'm a novice at lotions but if anyone can help, it's you :)! Your tutorials are always helpful and fun! Thank you!
I want to try to make this bubble bath powder, but I'm using only one color. How much liquid soap should I use? What kind of liquid soap should I use as well?
Hi, I'm a new subbie! I love watching your videos. I'm not one to actually make the product but I love to see how it's done. Do you have a website that you sell your items you make?
What if you wanted to use this method with your bath bomb recipe that uses butter and oils? I'm trying it but when I added the bubble bath it was foaming and I'm really nervous now. Smh
Eee I always get so excited when you come out with a new video! After watching and rewatching for what feels like almost a year I’m finally ready to try my hand at these!!! Question though, do these result in coloring the water the same way that your amazing bath bombs do? I’m trying to accomplish the beautiful colored water effect of a bath bomb but in powder and ideally bubble bath form!
Great question (I also like my water turning colors). Normally, bubble bath doesn’t, but this time it did! A gorgeous purple-blue! I wrote about it in description- I forgot to film it like a dumb ass! lol
I love your videos! So relaxing and confident without a lot of hype. But I have a question that I don't see here - when you say "liquid bubble bath" do you mean a commercial bubble bath-like Mr. Bubble ? If so, which one do you use? I'm dying to make this! Thanks so much!
Hola! Gracias por tus vídeos! Una pregunta, que hacemos si el Lauril sulfato de sodio lo tengo en líquido y no en polvo? Es que lo usas en muchas recetas pero en polvo, se puede sustituir por líquido? Gracias
I am learning so much from you. I want to start on this Bubble Bath powder. I notice the Amazon Solimo Bubble is out of stock. Can you suggest a replacement?
I just linked a different kind in the recommended products section (***). Its a basic bubble bath from amazon just like the other one. I'm pretty sure this one will work just fine, too!
Hey Denise, I wish I could bc SLSa is expensive! But if I didn't use that, I'd use some other bubble maker like sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) or sodium cocoyl isethionate. I don't think you can make bubble bath projects without it.
I love making your bubble bath recipes! The bubbles last forEVER, it's so fun to sit in tub. But when it comes time to drain the tub is there an easy way to pop or get rid of the remaining bubbles?
Good morning! This will be my first time attempting to make bubble bath powder and have a stupid question lol Can you use any kind of liquid bubble bath? Scented or not?
1) this is amazing and I've been binge watching all your vids, I made the vanilla rose milk bath powder a few days ago and it's INCREDIBLE. 2) in the descriptions, would you please consider adding the ingredient quantities in grams as well? 🥺 This very silly Brit didn't realise US cups aren't the same as UK ones and my ratios for the first batch were...very wrong 😂
New subscriber here and new to soap-making too! Been watching some of your videos and I LOVE your fun creations! I can't wait to make this dry bubble bath powder. My only concern is packing it in a 'glass jar' for use in a bathroom. Seems like that would be asking for a potential accident and possibly lawsuit from a customer. Do you know of any plastic container that might work and still look pretty? It would be even better if it had a salt-shaker type of lid on it. Thank you for all you do for us beginners!
God, I love all of your videos Dora! These are so amazing! Quick question - Could this be made unscented? Would I need to add another liquid to compensate and not throw the recipe off (Or another oil like jojoba or something simple maybe)? Would the polysorbate 80 still be needed if I don't add another liquid, or is it just to help the fragrance oil emulsify?
no oil = no poly. you dont have to add fragrance. Replace with any other liquid, even water. You just have to puff up the powder so it dries coarse & hard. Please watch this tutorial, it explains it much better: ua-cam.com/video/7tJ3Le6MeKY/v-deo.html
Can I use my bath bombs and sift them and just add the slsa to make that powder without starting from scratch because I have some bath bombs that I really want to redo but I would like to add that Sosa to it to make it bubbly and I want to make it the power so it is that possible
love the video , but SLSA is very expensive..a whole cup in this..wow..cant you substitute with anything like Guar Gum or Xanthan gum or sci? I have the liquid too would that work? also for a substitute for the bubble bath fi you dont have it..seems like bubble up or coco betaine would work. Of course bubble bath would be much much cheaper can get it any dollar store.
Sorry but I got confuse at the beginning you add SLSA (citric acid ) or is a different product because your adding extra citric acid after the mix with the wet products
Thanks!
😘
Thanks so much for your support! I appreciate it!

YW. I don’t know of one.
Hello Dora. Are you able to share what liquid bubble bath you use for this awesome activity. Thank you!
Yes, It is linked in description. But its Solimo liquid bubble bath (amazon brand)
Can you please suggest an alternative for polysorbate 80????
god i wish you had a shop where you sold the already made stuff. it looks so cool, but i dont have the time to make half of it
lol I understand. Hopefully son!
You are the best Dora ❤️

Do you use mica powder to colour?
you can. I normally use color powder
I'm so excited to make this :) have all the ingredients (finally). Question, will the colorants color skin?
Not at all
It look so nice!
Tell me please,If I don' t have SLSA,what can I use?
Thank you!
SLSa - Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate, SLS - Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, SCI - Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate. Please research them before purchasing!
