Great suggestions. We certainly have a lot more control over our health than we have been taught. Good habits are proactive activities that can lengthen our lives greatly.
It has been linked to elevated cases of bowel and rectal cancer here in the Canterbury region of New Zealand . Increased Elevated levels of nitrates and cases of bowel cancer have been linked to the increase in the amount of new dairy farms , as the increase in the number of cows increase so does the output of nitate laden urine and solid waste which inturn is absorbed into the soil strata . Eventually most of the urine is neutralised by the filtering through the soils containing microbial fauna , however the nitrates still make to the ground water from which a great percentage of Canterbury gets its water
I have a fish tank. And my nitrates explode. I'm over 80ppm. And I was wondering why since I have gotten rid of most my fish and I feed less now. So I tested my water in California and my tap water in my freshwater was 30-40ppm. And that's with a house filter for entire house before my salt softner. So I'll have to have the city test my water. I live in a farm city as well.
My son just purchased a new home and the water lab test came back as 101 ppm They strictly drink bottled water when down there working on the house but I’m wondering if it’s safe to drink if it’s been boiled. My son is 23 and will likely be preparing for a baby in the very near future so I’m just trying gather as much information as possible
@@JosiahGarber thank you for letting me know. My son had to buy a huge filtration system for the kitchen faucets in order to meet code water requirements. They’re still drinking bottled water though we just fill jugs for them so it’s not so much plastic being used.

i have one question
why nitrate is present more in tap water as compare to raw river water
That’s not always the case. It just depends on the source and what possible contamination sources it’s near.
What is a good filter to get rid of nitraites
our rural water scheme in New Zealand tested over 50ppm nitrates
Outstanding..

distilled they say is better and may cause cancer if not?
The title says How to test! Not much testing going on here...
What about rain water? 😳🌻

Very informative
More info is better, thank you..
50ppm comes out of my tap :(
In-laws’ well came in at 17ppm with a local lab test! 🤯

@@momof2641 Boiling will not remove nitrates. It will concentrate them due to the water that is being turned into water vapor.
