I would say this is a passion project for #HanJiMin! With courage to face any possible consequences ( one of which is those negative criticism) in taking the role, her heart overpowered her mind and choose her desire to have these story known. Aside from being a low budget film. Hence, all the difficulty they have encountered during filming. All that had been involved in finishing this project/movie had put their heart and soul in it. Its mostly all about the message of the movie that the cast and crew aims to deliver regardless of how it will turn out in the ratings and monetary aspect. I believe if you have passion, it goes beyond the outcome you were expecting. The passion of Han Ji MIn, the director, the writers and the staff/crew are reflected on this movie, and that passion was rewarded accordlingly. First in Korean film I gather! AMAZING MS. BAEK!!!
This movie deserves all the awards it has received. Sadly not as popular due to heartbreaking subject of child abuse. She gave a sublime acting in this movie, truly is a versatile actress.
