It's so refreshing to see a sensible, beautiful young girl like you playing like this. Congratulations!
Beautiful! This is one of my favorite guitar pieces but it seems that there's always something new to discover in each player's interpretation & performance. Ms Lange does it justice!
Your execution is the best I have ever heard because you give the strumming at the right time. The interpreters I have heard before find it difficult to go from tremolo to rasggada and what they do is leave a space of time between one and the other to facilitate movement, but that breaks the rhythm of the piece despite which they do it. You do not. You give the strumming right at the exact moment and for that I congratulate you.
I am a professional luthier and hear a lot of guitar playing in my work. This was great; very dynamic, good phrasing and lovely lyrical quality. Well done Julia.
Why would someone dislike this masterpiece? This song is so hard to play, especially the tremolo, this takes serious talent, I wish I could play like that!
I've heard many people play Asturias and until seeing this I always thought that no one quite does it like John Williams. You are awesome my dear Bravo !!!!!!
This young lady Julia Lange has a wonderful smooth touch. As with Ana Vidovic, she plays Albeniz' Asturias that captures anyone's ability to appreciate the classics, very differently. Both equally very pleasing to the ear. Vidovic chooses to be more 'aggressive' which makes us shiver with goosebumps............. however, Julia's own gently touch also gives us music lovers a physical reaction to her mastery of this piece in her own way.
At the start I literally thought “I don’t like this song” it’s due to the interpretation of other players that play it almost angry in my opinion. I finally found something in it that I will not forget. Thank you
Wooooooowwwwww!!! This is sth of the most beautiful things I ever have seen and listened ...!!!! Sounds like J.S. Bach speaks Spanisch ...Dankeschőn !!!
First off, if you wish to be taken seriously, I suggest you work on a decent 'moniker'. Second, prove that you're a way better musician than whom you're criticising. Until then, no dice.
Both of your claims are idiotic. An argument is either accurate or it isn't. If you think the name of the person is relevant to the content of the statement, you're an idiot. Secondly, if you think you need to be more skilled at something than another person in order to recognize when they've made an error, you're also an idiot. If I know how Asturias is meant to be played, I don't need to be able to play it myself in order to recognize whether someone else can or can't play it correctly.
+Eezge Efaef "totally wrong" is a little bit exaggerated... yes, it should be a little different but it's not like that's uncorrectable error and I don't really feel like it affects the quality of her sound much...
He said she will go far. The performance is passionate. It sounds great. Is it a crime? I don't see anything wrong. Maybe it sounds too stalking but it's still too far from claiming "they make laws to protect kids because of this"
Hard to believe any one, let alone 916, dont like your playing of his piece. It's inspiring, outstanding and a beautiful rendition. All the best with your future.
