Shots Fired after catching big bass Scared me to death

Fishing a new pond and never thought what happened was going to happen. Caught a couple of small bass but once I caught the big bass shots were fired. Made me jump and scared me to death. Where they shooting at because I was catching the big bass or just trying to scare me away from there fishing spot
