*Rory.* Thanks 😊 I was thinking 'gunslinger' vibe, but 'sea shanty' is spot on 😄 In any case, definitely old school. I can see why he'd say that there's nothing modern about his writing.
The original Bad Seeds accompanied Cave on this journey: Blixa Bargeld (guitar, vocals), Mick Harvey (guitar, percussion, organ, vocals), Conway Savage (organ), Martyn P. Casey (bass) and Thomas Wydler (drums). The lyrics of this great songwriter remain as disturbing and ambiguous as ever, despite their apparent simplicity. Nick Cave delivers this disturbingly beautiful tirade....the whole album is greatness,. Thank you!!!!!
Thanks Rory, Nick Cave is my favourite songwriter. Here is something completely different, I hope you didn’t hear Rammstein before, I would love to see how you react. As start please do search Rammstein Dicke Titten official video. You might google the translation because they are German 😅 Thanks again and enjoy 😉
Thanks for checking out Nick. Always a pleasure when you react to him and looking forward to many more this year. Top of the list. '15 feet of pure white snow' - official video - Quite simply you'll love the way this song is put together, all the power and precision of a master craftsman. ua-cam.com/video/4sfhvxTZ0wo/v-deo.html&ab_channel=NickCaveandtheBadSeeds 'Hand of God' - live 2022 Hanging Rock - from his most recent album like a fine wine he just gets better and has lost nothing from the force of nature he is on stage. Spellbinding. ua-cam.com/video/XtqrOVM7-Ug/v-deo.html&ab_channel=ABCArts
No Nick is spot on apart from songwriting his great talent is picking collaborators, the bad seeds are just the best and most unique group of genius musicians, I mean Blixa Bargeld and Barry Adamson are up there competing for the title of coolest mofos on the planet. And the rest are all worthy of your attention even guys like James Johnston from the incredible Gallon Drunk who was only really on one album possibly my favourite Bad seeds one the wonderful lyre of Orpheus/abattoir blues are people who have I think you would dig. But chap I urge you to check out the incredible Tindersticks and Scott Walker they are right up there with Nick and Tom Waits I can almost guarantee you will love them
Loving the Nick Cave reactions 👌🏼 not nearly enough of them on UA-cam
Love Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.
Nice to see Nick Cave reactions. That baritone and his talent for lyrics is a pleasure every time. You need to react to O'Malley's Bar!
