the fact you can fit the switch module inside it and use it as a better controller than the joycons in addition to being able to use this with your phone does make this thing seem like an interesting option vs all the usb/lighting controllers that are out there
You know why Nitendo didn't make a switch joycon pro? Cause Nintendo support 3rd party accessories. Nintendo makes a market for 3rd party so that they can make their own and price on their own.
Looking forward to see more content from you. Incredible content, Marc The Geek. I pressed your thumbs up button on your creation. Maintain the great work.
As a big Switch player (but I do also like a handful of mobile games) I am unreasonably excited for this! I have ordered one from here in Australia, and I'm hoping it comes ASAP.
Holy shit the G8+ with the grey Galileo face plates looks awesome, I'm really glad you did this in the video. That's what I'm going to do when I get the Plus, the Galileo is incredible but it gets annoying having to take the case from my phone every time I want to use it. Only downgrade is the lack of headphone jack in this one.
Having USB-C is nice for devices like these but at the same time it makes it's more restrictive at the same time. I had the USB-C one but returned it as it just doesn't fit all my needs. My foldable phone is the main reason why I want this controller so having it on the right side isn't ideal for me. I could charge my phone a lot faster with the G8+ as well since it doesn't need to get pass through the controller. Also this G8+ is a lot better on tablets cause it comes pre-modded already. 😊
@@GhostViperSix9 for me the charging port is either on the top right when unfolded or on the bottom right when on portrait mode. Not sure why this would be an issue. If the charging port is on the bottom left in landscape mode then I would use a right angled adapter or wire to charge it. I too have the Z Fold 6 and it's perfectly fine.
This controller does work with PC, it says on the official page on the Gamesir website and it even has an image advertising it connected with a laptop. I don't know why they didn't put it on the box.
That face swap with the original G8 Galileo is major! I was going to sell the older one since COD Mobile doesn’t work without the g-touch, which is terrible, but now I’m tempted to keep for those plates
@@varunaX I was talking about on Android since that game doesn't support many controllers on that platform, without g touch, but I'll check with my iPhone 16 tomorrow
@@varunaX so how do you get it working through USB-C, non g-touch mapping, and without hooking up an Xbox controller beforehand? COD Mobile, not Warzone Mobile too
I recently for this controller and I like it for the most part. It would've been perfect if it had HD rumble for the Switch. The only problem while using the Switch tho is that when using the D-pad I be hitting the capture button more than I want. It's so close by and I wish there was more space around the D-pad. I play a lot of fighting games. I like that this controller already come pre-modded for larger devices like a 11" tablet or so. I mainly got this for my foldable phones. I'm glad I waited for this and returned my Galileo G8.
Got this yesterday.. everything is great BUT! My phone keeps sliding when I’m laying down playing and just ends up falling out! I tried various cases, no case and still slips down and falls out. So it’s going right back and sticking to the Kishi Ultra.
I wish I could get a USB c to USB c cable that supports DisplayPort that's a soft as the charging cable that comes with this would be great for my glasses
I like the USB one since you can play while charging maybe you can do a vid on how to button map on mobile emulators specifically Mame4Droid or the Iphone Equivalent?
I don't. If there is, it's very minimal. I can't notice it. Bluetooth Gaming has been getting better and better. USB C is great & it should be better but, I have no problems playing with Bluetooth controllers after all these years.
Marc please do a video on how to connect this controller to android phone to work with ps remote play app please for some reason it won’t do anything once connected to android. Please help
This is an excellent mobile controller, but does the vibration feature not support mobile phones? When I connected it to the computer via USB-C, the vibration function worked fine.
does it have keymapper to play games with no controller support? like wuthering and need for speed assemble,,, ive been using mantis gamepad pro, but if i can carry phone too with g8+, could be more efficient/ comfortable
I can't figure this thing out for the life of me, I'm trying to play cod mobile, I connected but it doesn't work do I have to download that gamesir app and map it?
there’s another youtuber that showed how you can mod it to fit large tablets so just search it. basically if you apply some force you can do it and still put it back to normal after.
@@BaconMoreBacon There’s 3d printed extensions to fit larger than iPad Mini iPads on Etsy. This controller + iPad 13” OLED + Moonlight= Gamestream heaven. Big quality screen, fairly light, and full controller support WITH vibration is amazing.
Yeah you could and I just it today to test it out. There is a breakaway plastic piece in the front over the rubber mat. This is why it's a different color or pattern due to this. Use some force and just pull it back a little. Then pull the other part of the controller out slowly. Once it's out place that breakaway piece back again to level it. I would recommend using a small piece of soft material to place in the back of your tablet on the left side so it could be more stable. You will know what I mean by this once you do it. I wonder if we could get something 3D printed for this.
With foldables you could charge your phone if you are placing it in the correct way. With the charging port on the upper right or lower right. As for slab phones you could always get a flat right angled adapter and charge your phone. It's not ideal and it won't be as stable. Pick your poison I guess or just get the G8 instead. To me the G8+ is way better device for my needs.

Got this the other day from Amazon. Review unit. Honestly really amazed by its overall quality.
As a owner of a Z Fold 6 and a Switch Oled, this is being a dream coming true. I don’t need to carry a lot of stuff now, just the galileo. I love it.

Gamesir g8 galileo plus + foldable phone = New Nintendo 3ds ultra definitive
This is the only compelling one i have seen lately. Seems like it would fit my one plus open and work on switch too.

I brought this for mobile emulation and it works like anything charm. Psp, ps1, switch and ps2 emulation worked right out of the the box!
I love the design of the first galileo which is similar to the SNES controller, I hope they bring out a gear kit it would be perfect

Awesome controller. I just can’t justify spending the extra money since I already have the G8 USB C. It still works great!

Sadly not swappable

Can you connect another BT device (such as earphones) and the controller at the same time?
On switch yes you can have one Bluetooth headphones and one Bluetooth controller without any problems
Yes you can

Yes
Which game are you playing at tje beginning of the video??? Star wars ?? What title is it??
Does it need a subscription like the backbone controllers and can you use it on emulators?
It doesn't need a subscription and you can use it on an emulator
As a big amiibo user, using this with the Switch would not be an option for me. I'd love to use it for my iPad Mini though.
How did you change the button layout from Xbox to Switch?
I showed it in the video
How many hours are you getting from a charge?
Does it fit the Intel X1 One X player?
