I always wanted to make these cause it’s so expensive buying them 😭 Can’t believe you don’t need to use so much ingredients for the puffs, I’ll try to make some of these! Thank you!!!
One of my very Favorite Desserts. Simply Delicious. Mom made these without the Chocolate ganache sauce for years. It wasn’t until cooking School I was introduced to the Sauce and to this day I love the simplicity without the sauce. YUM
Omg u don’t know how much I love this dessert wow I love this especially with ice cream love it in France I have tried this for my first time but now watching this video I want to try it so badly 🥺😳😍♥️☺️👏🤞💫😎
Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. I got to know them when I was working for Marks and Spencer, London. I find them really special and close to my heart!!!! Thank you for sharing the process. Will give it a try!!!!
Excellent video with simple clear instructions. Maybe when doing a recipe like this, you can provide different filling options. I've always eaten them filled with egg custard. That would be a way to use the pods after extracting the seeds. Alternatively this pastry is also used to make eclairs, you could show both options and fillings to extend your video over that magic 10 min. mark. Keep up the good work.
Oooh Jack lovely! If I freeze them do I need to crisp them up again in the oven, or do they remain crisp? Have a lovely day, it’s pouring rain here in the UK and it’s cold 🥶 thanks Jack
Aww, cuuute, you pronounced "Chantilly" as "chanti-lee" 😆 It's actually "chanti-yee" 😉 And profiteroles are really good. Even here, we don't eat these very often, so when they actually show up for dessert, no matter how full you are, YOU STILL GOTTA EAT THEM 😂
I watch this video because tomorrow I have a cooking test, I am 15 years old and I go to cooking school, according to our recipe it is necessary to use 1 deceiltar of water, 1 deciliter of oil, 5 grams of salt, 100 grams of flour and 3-4 eggs.

They can be very expensive to buy. Homemade will always taste better as well. It’s literally 4 ingredients to make the pastry. Please enjoy! 😊
cute cats 😊🐈
Yep, I'm making this when I get off of work tonight for sure
Please enjoy! They are so easy to make and taste so good! 👌😊
We tried this recipe yesterday (with gluten free flour for my flatmate with celiac disease) and it worked out perfectly! Thank you for the recipe! :)
Awesome! That’s great to hear
Not only are you quite a good chef, but I enjoy your interjections of humor as well.

@@ChefJackOvens i would really really love to see you doing sea scallops on your own way, can't wait Chef 🙏💐
Thank you for the video. So 25 Profiteroles equal 1 serving right? :) take care Mate
2-3 profiteroles is a good amount per serve. This recipe makes 20-25 profiteroles. 😁 Thank you and you too! 👌
Hahahah, funny one Rob

That’s how I pronounce it in English 😉 profiteroles are so good, you can’t turn them down haha! 😊🙏
i have similar memories back in New Zealand in regards to chocolate eclairs
It's pronounced "Chantilly" in English (with L sound), just as it used to be in French. "ll" pronounced as "y" is a modern French affectation.

at what temperature are these cooked initially before setting it to 160 degrees?
200
My mom made these all the time and I never knew how she did it.
How hot was the oven when baking them??
Did you use a fan oven?
🤩
😎😁
Hello. Is there a list of ingredients so that I can assemble them before starting to watch the video? Thanks for any replies.
It’s all written in the description 🙏
So basically a roux becomes choux?
Exactly! It’s super simple. 👌
I love chocolate éclairs. They are so sexy and decadent... PS I'm still waiting on my milk tart when you have a chance 😁
They are awesome! I will make the tart as soon as I can, I have literally thousands of recipes to make, but I’ll put this as a priority! 🙏🙏
In this recipe you say when making the pastry, “Add 1 cup of flour or 150gs.” Don’t you mean 250gs?
250ml is 1 cup. Each ingredient has a different weight. 150g of flour equals 1 cup as it doesn’t weigh much. 😊
I tried making it , it didn’t come out good
What happened?
🌟🤩🎼🌈🙏💎🧩🪷🦋
Disgusting but probably to be expected from an Australian. Profiteroles require vanilla ice cream, not disgusting cream.
Haha!!
My god i love how informative and to the point your videos are... subscribed for sure!
Thank you so much, that’s greatly appreciated! 🙏🙏
