Welcome to the official MST3K UA-cam channel, brought to you by Shout! Factory. On this channel, you will find many of the best riffs and highlights from MST3K episodes, trailers from DVD box sets, bonus material including never-seen-before footage, as well as new original segments with Joel and his space traveling crew.
"Do you like your knee caps?" Classic Crow
I miss Joel's dry delivery so much. "she's really rocking this mother, isn't she?"
He does a good job on Cinematic Titanic too.
This just makes me want to watch Gypsy sing it instead. In addition to asking me if I'm happy in my work.
One of my favorite musical host segments 😄
YES SATAN SPEAK TO ME THROUGH THIS SONG
"Why did you leave meeeeeeee..."
"Because you told him tooooooo."
I loved seeing Gypsy song this song while Tom and Crow were the waiters.
Life would be measurably better with a three minute clip from MST3K every day. Just saying.
For starters we'd get at least 3 minutes of laughter a day.
There are a lot of these clips now, so it could be arranged.
@@AmyLSacks O gods of MST3K, hear my plea!
Not the worst movie they ever riffed on. I think that's why the riffing was so good.
I think one fan video claimed that it's the only movie where *all* the host segments are about (or from) the movie, which tells you they felt real affection for it despite its absolute goofiness.
Yeah this was not so bad as a film. Not near as bad as other films like Castle of Fu Manchu or Monster a Go-go.
I thought the protagonist's triumph in the essay contest provided bountiful material for the MST3K crew.
@@AmyLSacks I doubt its the only one, but it does stand out as a big one in that group
Jimmy and Kitty genuinely make a sweet couple. And I like Mary Beth Hughes' voice.
In a world where essay contests are serious business...
The kissway
Grandpa Jones "Too Old to cut the Mustard" haha thank you I needed that😉
Her next number, "All Of This and World War Too!" All kidding aside, Kitty is a doll! Hubba-hubba!
Kitty is definitely a swell looker, A real doll. See? (I "dig" '40s dames!) 👍😊👍
Aww, I was hoping it was Are You Happy In Your Work.
I tried using a pig-in-a-blanket as a hat, too. But it didn't help my singing. :o
Also, Mary Beth Hughes has a really impressive filmography, at least in terms of the number of films she did. I guess she really *was* happy in her work, for awhile. ;)
Hello Amy 👋 and I hate pigs in a blanket 😑 lol!
"Yes, Satan, speak to me through this song."
What do you say, Kitty?
MEEOOOOWWW!
I love how the cowboy band knew the random big band song Kitty wanted to sing...that's some telepathy right there.
And also happened to have the right instruments.
I love this movie!!!! My all time favorite MST3K!!!!
This and Teenagers from outer space
@@dr3putt62 ...and Terror from the Year 5000, and...nevermind :)
I remember watching this with my parents and my step dad saying to himself in confusion to the first song... "Are you happy in your work? What??"
Did anyone else use to own this episode on VHS? I sure did!
I still do.
@@nickgagnon3626 Heck yeah. It's how I came to love the Happy Chef character so much.
I did!😁
The songwriters for I ACCUSE MY PARENTS, Evans and Livingston, were extremely popular with numerous hits, including "Silver Bells" and "Que Sera, Sera."
I have several family members that are professional singers. I can't imagine any of them performing for free because a restaurant manager just asked them. Not because they are assholes, because even one song can be a bit complicated. Does the band know a song you know? Do you get a chance to warm up? Things like that. But it happens all the time in movies like this.
repeat to yourself it's just a show, you should really just relax...
@@RavnerRavner Except that is about MST3K and not the movies riffed. If you were supposed to do that for the movies, there wouldn't be a MST3K because you couldn't comment on them.
Every member of the band is wearing sombreros and yet no mariachi music... what gives?
The high resolution and computer monitor reveal that Joel's wearing glasses.
That shouldn't be too surprising. He wears them when he's not on set as well.
@@ClayLoomis1958 In the host segments? He probably has.
@@525Lines No, I just mean in life. If you go to Google Images and enter Joel Hodgson, about half the pictures of Joel show him wearing glasses.
He needed them for the monitor they were looking at. The big screen was added in post.
@@ClayLoomis1958 I'm aware he wore glasses. It's just that he usually took them off on camera as Joel Robinson.
I actually thought this was a strangely enjoyable movie on its own, and the riffing made it that much better. Joel and the bots even analyzed the plot between segments. That wasn't exactly happening in Manos, unless you count the "what makes a monster" discussion.
That dude on the left is like the 1940s Tom Holland.
2:26 Now there's the look of a man who knows how toast works.
My favorite episode
This is basically what I did with my classmates whenever we watched a movie in class in high school
‘I’m Rudolf Hess!’😂
One of my favorite episodes.
Nice teeth
"The kiss way to the promise land?????"
CHECK PLEASE!
Has this channel uploaded "Yipe Stripes" from Teen-age Strangler? It's the latest fashion!
Where is the kiss way to the promised land?
Depends on if you're asking a man or a woman.
[points] You drive down there 'bout three miles then turn left at th' Post Office. Y'cain't miss it!
Exit 14 off the Turnpike.
@@AmyLSacks if you pass the old gas station, you've gone too far.
@@christopherwall2121 Yeah. [sigh] I hear that *a lot* online.
This was the first MST3K episode I seen.
Hahahahaha!😂😂😂😂
Love you guys 🤣
This was cool
😺 MEOW EEEEEEEE
kowalski table of 7
kowalski?
I'm just noticing how Jimmy looks like Tom Holland...
Trent wanted Ms. Kitty to sing a song for his patrons? What did those poor people ever do to you Trent!! WHoo boy that was a stinker. I would rather listen to Shemp from the three stooges have a go at Mozart's Serenade No. 13 “Eine kleine Nachtmusik”.
