- This video demonstrates step-by-step instructions to hard-wire a dash cam rear camera in a 2015 Ford F150. I install a Rexing V1P Gen 3 dashcam rear view camera (sometimes called a 2-channel dash cam camera). At the end of the video I show both front and rear recordings.
The front (main) camera install can be seen here: • 2015 - 2020 Ford F150 ...

That's one hick of an instruction video (specially for people with less car knowledge like me). One suggestion is to use a measuring tape to fish the wire in one go from teh front to the back.
This was very helpful!
Great info! I am doing my install this weekend and your video gave me lots of tips to help the install go well. Thank you!
Best of luck! Hope it turns out well.
Brass Horse Business Ed - I actually installed it this morning took me about an hour total. I’m very happy with how it turned out.
Do you have any video that shows how to do the wiring for an F-150 (King Ranch) with a full length sunroof--2019/2020? Thanks. This was a great video.
Excellent Video, Very Thorough Explanation, my only issue is I have a Moon Roof, but I think I can still get it done based on your video, Thanks!!!
Great video! Instead of using the coat hanger, I bought a set of fiberglass wire running rods from Harbor Freight that screw together to create any length you need. The whole kit was only 5 or 6 dollars and are worth their weight in gold!
Also, to be able to gain better access to the area above the headliner in the rear seat area, I removed the B pillar plastic mounding. A little more work, but well worth the effort.
Very good explanation and details! Thank you :)
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
As the second installment of the wiring to your dashcam you have continued to show excellence in workmanship and instruction. Well done!
Thanks for the video! Looks simple enough. Just got to have patience. Going to install mine tomorrow.
I hope it worked!
@@BrassHorseStudio Yes it did! Seeing your video first really helped.
Excellent video! Just what I needed, although I am a little hesitant/pull so hard on the liner, it's a "natural" resistant in me even though I know it's fine.
Thank you!
thanks for the tips...especially the cable routing
Great video!! It was a big help. Thanks!
$2.17/gallon gas. Oh right, Trump was president then. My how times have changed.
Why not just run your fishtape right down the center of the headliner? I would think that would be a lot easier.
I think, as Brass said, he was limited to the length of his coat hanger wire. I have a set of the fiberglass fishing rods that screw together. I'm going to try, like you said, when I do mine. I was an electrician in my working days!
