I can't find anyone, including pastors, excited about Jesus' return except Christians on line, and Pastor, you are one of two pastors on line that I know who are excited about Jesus' return. I don't know why so many pastors don't even address this topic! Why don't they want to encourage us that Jesus is coming soon? And of course it makes sense that Jesus is coming before the tribulation, just as you said, the seven churches mentioned in the first 3 chapters are not mentioned afterwards! Maranatha! God bless you and thanks for being faithful to God and His church to encourage us! I like how you say it is one of my favorite verses in the Bible along with all the other favorite verses! A Note to everyone. If you believe in the Pre-Trib, Mid-Trib, Post-Trib and the Pre-Wrath Rapture, please remember that it is not an issue of Salvation. I have run into so many believers that are vicious about their rapture belief to the point of attacking other Christians. I have been harassed, mocked and scorned, for my belief in the Pre-Trib Rapture. "These things aught not to be." Amazingly the people attacking never see their behavior as a sin. They usually gloat, at their superior stand on the Rapture, which I find to be hypocritical. LOL Anyway, We should never attack each other over non salvation issues. The World is watching the way we treat our brothers and Sisters in the Lord.

Isn't it strange that people claiming to be Christian are having such a hard time receiving the biblical fact and truth about the Rapture and becoming so angry and aggressive about it ? ......many to the point of becoming hateful and vile.
Last night I dreamt of my cousin being married again to her husband whom she divorced years ago, not even a remote possibility in real life. Now, I'm watching this video titled "the pretribulation rapture". The Spirit is saying there is no time left. The Marriage Supper of the Lamb is just around the corner. I never bought into the 7th Trumpet rapture theory, thinking that people were trying to take a simplistic approach without understanding the full Scriptures. However the pre-tribulation rapture theory is the only rapture theory that causes us to be ready at all times, always looking for Jesus to return. The doctrine of imminency tells us to be ready at any time.
Thats so true. If the rapture was at the end of the tribulation then we already have signs to look for e.g temple built, anti christ abomination of the temple mid way point of tribulation. Then we can say right everyone we have another 3 and a half years to get right. If the pre trib rapture is imminent we are more cautious on being ready
wish more preachers would preach on end times....Getting people body mind and soul right with God. Spiritual warfare. Now its like some sugar coated Christianity, not to offend anyone...Use to see members looking at their watches now its the preachers looking at theirs. We need a revival in the land. I am a believer of the rapture. I just have some concerns about Rev. 4:1 ("come up") considered as the rapture. Pls. consider these: (Rev 4:1 [KJV]) After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. (Rev 4:2 [KJV]) And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. - The sound heard is not really a trumpet but "as it were" or sounds like trumpet. John is hearing words "Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter." but it just sound like of a trumpet. - John was taken in the spirit only. The Bible did not mentioned his body was changed into incorruptible body and was taken up. The Bible just said "And immediately I was in the spirit". - John did not represent the church as a whole. The church is an assembly of baptized believer's of Christ.
Question: Matthew 24 has these verses in it: "6 And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won’t follow immediately. 7 Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world. 8 But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come." All of this stuff is happening now, along with Ezekiel 38 and whatnot being set into place. Then Matthew 24 continues: "9 “Then you will be arrested, persecuted, and killed. You will be hated all over the world because you are my followers.[b] 10 And many will turn away from me and betray and hate each other. 11 And many false prophets will appear and will deceive many people. 12 Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold. 13 But the one who endures to the end will be saved." My question is what does this mean? Are these passages for these left behind? Thanks to any that respond!

Thousand are being persecuted and killed for their testimony of Jesus everyday, just not in the western world (yet). These words are for today. Christians are hated more today than they have been since Rome ruled the world.

Question: Will the mark of the beast be offered in Israel too during the 7 year trib??? Also, if I'm not mistaken, the Jewish year this fall will be 5777. 5777. An interesting number. Maybe it marks the year 6001 from creation, the first year of the 7th Millennium? The year we partake in the fruits of reconciliation between God and man...?

It was actually Jesus who said in Matt. 24:22, "And except those days be shortened, there should no flesh be saved, but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened." Please read Zechariah 14:1-7, Isaiah 65:8-9, Revelation 19:14 and Romans chapter 11. These are the only verses I know of that speak about the tribulation "elect" and Jesus shortening those days to come for His elect...."with ten thousands of His saints!"

How can a loving God turn so revengeful .Mother wakes up in the morning to feed her baby all she finds in the crib pjays and diaper because God took her baby, planes,trains and cars crashing killing all occupants. Generation we don’t know which one but many generations thought it would be in their time I don’t see the importance,it will happen,but the importance of sanctification and justification is crucial now Where he says there is no mention of the word church proof that the church is gone,but there are other places in the New Testament where the word church is not used but words such as the body,those in Christ,living members, have been used I don’t know when the rapture will happen but what I do know is that if I’m not ready then it doesn’t matter I don’t concern myself with after death it’s too late I can’t change anything But on earth is where I can prepare So I think debating is healthy fighting isn’t But when one starts naming names or saying that so and so and such and such are false teachers and teaching and taking areas of the bible without giving other viewpoints is dangerous ground We should always be encouraged to search the scriptures for our self
Before the rapture, God is going to clean His church because right now it is not prepared for it, It is dirty. It is going to be punished very hard, and they will know God is calling them to holiness. Be prepared ask the Holy Spirit for guidance.

There will also be demonic manifestations of "children" after the rapture to explain/excuse the rapture of the children and believers. Demons can take on the look of "familiar" people, to deceive us. I appeal to the mature men and women of Christ, to consider the pretribulation rapture doctrine with reason, logic and of sober mind. Are we not all the body of Christ? If the Church rises to perfection before the great tribulation, which member of the body is raised first? Is the body of Christ raised in sections? Those that have died believing the promise, are they not also members of the body of Christ? Yet, they are not perfected without us (Heb.11:40), how then can the Church be risen to perfection before the dead in Christ? Are the dead in Christ also risen before the tribulation? The dead in Christ must rise first (1Thes.4:13-17). Is the body of Christ perfected as one? How then can any be left behind? Is the body of Christ perfected one piece at a time? Can the foot say to the hand, I have no need of you? Or is the body of Christ risen as one...some to honor and some to dishonor?
Revelation chapter 4 through chapter 14 tells you exactly when the rapture is and what will come to pass before Jesus rides that cloud in. There is no pre tribulation rapture.

My understanding of the word is very plan, the luke warm' will be left behind to go through the 7 year tribulation.

I don’t know when the rapture will happen but what I do know is that if I’m not ready then it doesn’t matter
I don’t concern myself with after death it’s too late I can’t change anything
But on earth is where I can prepare
So I think debating is healthy fighting isn’t
But when one starts naming names or saying that so and so and such and such are false teachers and teaching and taking areas of the bible without giving other viewpoints is dangerous ground
We should always be encouraged to search the scriptures for our self
Trumpets #5,6,7 will be terrifying Judgements: Revelation 8:13.

Before the rapture, God is going to clean His church because right now it is not prepared for it, It is dirty. It is going to be punished very hard, and they will know God is calling them to holiness. Be prepared ask the Holy Spirit for guidance.

Absolutely YES, children will not be left here, the ones with souls from God that is. They are making children now, cloning, and not of God. There will also be demonic manifestations of "children" after the rapture to explain/excuse the rapture of the children and believers. Demons can take on the look of "familiar" people, to deceive us. That is why we are to test the spirits.
Bless your precious heart for asking, Jesus LOVES the little ones, and there ain't NO WAY they stay here. You are blessed that they love Jesus, so they have come into the age where they can make that choice, and they have a loving and believing home to grow up in.... PRAISE GOD!!!

But then there is the scripture telling the JEWS when to flee and woe to those pregnant or nursing in that day?

Just keep loving them and sharing Jesus with them... we are all about to be taken out of here. This ain't going on and on like in the past. Evil is here, and it is all over the place, mocking, scoffing, blaspheming God, and God has about seen enough, His timing is perfect, and this is the last generation.

I appeal to the mature men and women of Christ, to consider the pretribulation rapture doctrine with reason, logic and of sober mind.
Are we not all the body of Christ? If the Church rises to perfection before the great tribulation, which member of the body is raised first? Is the body of Christ raised in sections?
Those that have died believing the promise, are they not also members of the body of Christ? Yet, they are not perfected without us (Heb.11:40), how then can the Church be risen to perfection before the dead in Christ? Are the dead in Christ also risen before the tribulation? The dead in Christ must rise first (1Thes.4:13-17).
Is the body of Christ perfected as one? How then can any be left behind? Is the body of Christ perfected one piece at a time? Can the foot say to the hand, I have no need of you? Or is the body of Christ risen as one...some to honor and some to dishonor?

Revelation chapter 4 through chapter 14 tells you exactly when the rapture is and what will come to pass before Jesus rides that cloud in. There is no pre tribulation rapture.
