Thanks for posting this. I just compared this to your video form February 14th on your test garden before the manticore update. I wanted to make sure they didn't neuter the machine with the update, and it sounds like the same signal to me comparing both videos from your 12" merc before and after the stabilizer update
I think they made it maybe slightly more stable, but no ding on depth. Still gotta tinker with it more. The ferrous indicator/red numbers thing seems excellent, just playing in the yard so far. I think its gonna be another level of extra good in the parks now.
Thanks, I did the same test on Sunday at a school field and had to turn it back to zero. All good targets were 7+ inches. Yesterday, I set it at 2 in a trashy city park and pulled a seated half dime, an SLQ and 3 ihps. Bothe silvers were next to junk. Two of the ihps were with nails. All targets were less than 6 inches, though. Stabiliser definitely helped!
Yeah, between that and the red ferrous numbers, it’s lookin real good. Maybe another update could ratchet down the stabiliser tuning a bit, seeing how it seems like it’s on the aggressive side yet.
Well swell. I been running 3 stabilizer with my new m15. Been pulling silver up in a special situation that's only giving up silver cause the M15 is punching down that extra distance. But I have had several marginal signals that I have just passed on due to to much of a broken signal. My nemesis in this area is rusty bent or broken nails. But I am starting to suspect I am skipping some good silver coins running stabilizer at all. I think digging a few more nails with it at 0 will gain me more silver coins as well. It's such a fine line with stabilizer working to help when it comes to deep targets that are just on the very limits of the Manticores capabilities. If you know the targets are near the surface say 8" and less then running stabilizer at 3 is not a problem. It will help cut the rusty iron and coins will come right through. But in my situation I am looking to squeeze every bit of depth possible I am going to have to just turn it off. I will go hit my spot tomorrow. I will run it at 0 on stabilizer. I bet my silver coins just skyrocket! I will see how it goes but I suspect many of those I walked over today that where so close to good where good had I only turned off the stability.

@@UABFWSS Two UA-camrs said that depth is affected beginning with 3, but more so 4 and above. I haven't seen them or anyone else test depth.
