even on sale for like $12 atm, i think the only thing that looks somewhat amazing is that robe, the broom mount seems just as fast at that emaciated dragon mount and theres plenty of things to cast spells on in open world so i guess its a hard pass from me. i was hoping this dlc made your path in the game a bit darker, or npcs treat u different. ty for making this short video. you saved me $12. have an awesome day sir.
my opinion is that the dark arts dlc is good but wearing together is cool but with the emsemble and some fancy clothing you can look like some fancy criminal or even simply whitout coat and just the emsemble it look great especially with a brown haired and blue eyes characters here a character idea: face preset: 2 eyebrown preset: 18 eye colour: the bluest you can have and if you're on pc download brighter eyes mode to make it look cooler hair: any male hairstyle you want hair colour: brown or dark brown scar: none freckles: 3rd dot coming from the left but depend if you don't want one moles: none outfit: dark art emsemble or the hogwart provisor outfit (forgot its name the one you unlock when you unlock the door the provisor outfit with the key near the end of the game with challange) its just an idea i want to try but i think its gonna look good (am on pc so might be a little different)

Depends if you'll use them much. Personally, I rarely used flying mounts. The broom is easier to land. I did wear the dark arts outfit for a while until I found something I preferred the look of.

The game releases on the Switch tomorrow so decided to get it as something to do when on the train etc, this helped a lot when deciding whether or not to get the regular or deluxe edition (only a £10 difference), but decided it might make the first portion of the game more enjoyable so I may as well (plus to buy the dlc after getting the standard edition it’s £17, so save £7 by getting deluxe on the idea that I’d end up buying the dlc anyway)

I don't know if you already figured this out but to unlock the killing curse all you need to do is complete sebastians quest line and when he ask you whether or not you wanna learn it say "nows a better time than any" I believe and then you'll get it 😁

Early days in the game much of the gear looks rubbish so I wore the Dark Arts outfit a lot there instead of the house uniform. The Thestral looks cool, but I usually use my broom as it's a bit faster and easier to fly on. The arena took me all of 15 mins or so to do. Fun, but I doubt I'd do that again. The pack is just about worth it, but it's close in my opinion and it's certainly not essential. The game is a lot of fun though. There's a good 40 hours of content that I've enjoyed exploring. For any Potter fan, I think it's a wonderful experience.
not sure if buying the standard edition then this costs less than just buying the deluxe edition but still that fact you can buy deluxe edition then finds out everyone can buy the items they paid extra for? if i’m wrong tell me please :)

Only for use in the Dark Arts Battle Arena. For normal use you unlock them during the game following Sebastian's quests and asking to learn them from him.
I haven't gotten the game yet but I can buy the ultimate version for 6 or seven dollars more than the standard. I'm just wondering if the dark arts pack gives you better stats or buffs over the gear you find in the game. Just wanna know if it's worth the 7 dollars more to get the ultimate version of the game.
I show exactly what you get in this vid. No buffs or stat advantage. The pack gives purely cosmetic items and a battle arena. The Thestral mount looks pretty cool, as does the Dark Arts suit. Personally I think it's worth the $7, but depends if you like the look of the stuff on offer.

No. You can only practice with them. You can optionally learn the curses through several quests in the game. Sebastian Sallow's quest line is what you want for these.

Up to you whether you feel it's worth it. You can unlock dark arts spells later in the game by following certain quest lines and decisions. But it takes time. The arena just lets you use them and play with them before that, but only in the area.

The battle area? No. They unlock gradually during the game when progressing Sebastian's quest line. Only if you choose to learn them.

It's personal preference. I used to fly around more on my broom, but if you really like the content, then $5 seems good value to me.

On release if I recall right, the Deluxe worked out slightly cheaper than buying the things seperate. Probably about the same now.

It's pretty linear the story progression. You can't really skip parts to get to it. But it's a nice, interesting story. Enjoy the journey. 🙂
