This poem hits differently. I feel that the ISC prose and poetry collection for class 12 is quite pessimistic. Every other story or poem seems to have an underwhelming tone to it which I just can't seem to understand. I find the previous collection more suitable.
This year's collection talks about death either directly or indirectly in poems like death be not proud, small towns and rivers and tithonus,which is quite underwhelming. 😅

So true, i agree with u also if u see in prose collection, 3 out of 5 stories r disturbing like
The cookie lady, there will cm soft rains and indigo all of them have a disturbing ending
