I don't think it's difficult at all. As long as you've followed the traffic rules properly in India, you will make it through the driving test in the UK. Just prepare the theory test well and learn the UK traffic signs. Follow the rules when you're behind wheels. I passed the test without any learning lesson. Had to prepare for mock test well but nothing for actual driving test.

However, I have a little doubt that if we rent a car in the UK on an Indian driving license as it's valid for 12 months and while driving if we do any minor mistakes, will those cause any kind of problem in future (fines, future DL application, etc)?
if you hire or lease a car and any fines or mistakes will be assigned to the persons who hired the car. IF you make any accidents then it will only fault you, also the relevant databases will be updated with your fault especially if it leads to an insurance or police involvement IF you want to rent or hire a car then most of the time the company providing this service will offer you an insurance quote which is mostly cheap ( as this company will be using a flex group policy), some companies offer you the opportunity to use your own insurance................ be prepared, not under any influence of alcohol or drugs, not stressed or tired , take frequent breaks, drive within any speed limits, check blind spots, be especially careful around children, wheel chair users, 4 legged animals and drive under the mind set - prevention is better than cure

While buying a car on lease you need to have good credit history in the UK unless you have large deposit to pay first or if you want to compromise with high interest rates on the lease deal. So better to buy a low cost car first.. and insurance can cost around £1200-£1400 per annum on your Indian/international driving license

Hi, currently there is no official date announced yet by UK Govt. to end the lockdown but situation may get better by the end of March 2021 hopefully.
India mai to bike truck kon kaha se ghus jaye on highway pta hi ni chalta or kuch log to overtaking lane pe bhi 40 ki speed pe chlte rehte h.
Provisional license apply krne ki try ki mene but last 3 years jaha pe reh rahe ho wo address mang rahe hai or muje aaye huye 1 mahina huva hai.
