  • Welcome to the Black Mesa Raytraced coding videos i'm here to show you my coding skills and fixing the copied code for loading mdl csharp unity that orginally was created in c++ decompiled by ghidra do not be afraid this doesn't mean after all that in the initial state of creating this game. Remember: Black Mesa is a source engine game and was originally created in modified version branch of source engine so is almost impossible to do this faster so not in unity not even in csharp C++ is similar to C# so a little easy to translate this game but not easy as you may think. So this about only coding process not final steps of entire game but i put this video to show you how to achieve this in visual studio if have similar project with translating source engine game but not black mesa i must only do this to unity or unreal after all if you have known both engines such as Unity and Source Engine in the same level of knowledge about them you're now ready for start part 1 translating your game with source engine to newest engine such as Unity/Unigine or Unreal in terms add to existing game raytracing and better graphics of course if you still understands how to do this in version of Unreal specific C++ standards. So all this code are pulled by ghidra from entire game there something need to be fixed or renamed. Overall i want to port existing Black Mesa to unity to add raytracing and better graphics and this i hope will be very soon sooner than you think so i think my game today will be have a page on Steam! if i get access to Steamworks i hope many gamers will be happy with new graphics of the game and raytracing effects so they give many positive reviews and some negative reviews by this sinnars who can't stand new technology of the game or not so if i release my game and got 1000 subscribers i will release my face on the youtube channel and fight for 1000000. And maybe i planned to create my own next game after my Black Mesa Raytraced game was released with my own assets see reaction from people that they are think my models good or bad but still in style of Valve 's one my this next game will be on unreal to try a little unreal 5.7 and also will be released on Steam!.i want also feedback from my fellow Half-Life/Black Mesa fans and other Gamers and will give likes to people that i searched before for similar content like Half-LIfe series and other Valve games , or porting existing games from other companies maybe consider to porting games that is leastnew but doesn't have actually raytracing. Also Black Mesa is a remake of Half-Life and combat First Person Shooter game developed by Crowbar Collective is also an response to Valve port of Half-Life 1 to Source full release was initialy named as Black Mesa Definitive Edition in 2020 also they have expanded maps inspired by original HL1 but unfortunately doeas't add raytracing originally so i'm the one who is supposed to add Raytracing to entire BM in meaning of enhancing rendering and lighting and expanded graphics by using new engine Unity almost all this code belongs to them of course to feel this is even more still alive than before and feeling the gameplay of the story of Gordon Freeman is much better thsn before and of course better performance of the game maybe sometimes this won't work if you want to use raytracing you have to have rtx card if you don't have rtx card you must turnoff raytracing in game settings Characters: Barneys is a term for security guards from Black Mesa and the main Barney character is a friend of Gordon Freeman also appears in next series of Half-Life Scientists: is a term for the all black mesa personel both Male and Woman some of them knows about Resonance Cascade perhaps , G-Man is an most mysterious character behind Half-Life series and that first appears inBlack Mesa/Half-Life first gordon starts work for him as an undercover and as of HL2 most of
    Resistance members work for him and of course him mysterious employees works for him .
