Episode 2 - Design and Animate in Figma
Join me in my new course about how to create UI Motion Graphics using Figma, After Effects and LottieFiles.
In this episode, we will be creating a liquid toggle in Figma. We will create all the frames needed to recreate this toggle in After Effects but as a bonus, we will also learn how to create an Interactive Component in Figma so we can use this toggle and its animations anywhere in our Figma designs.
Create highly polished UI animations and motion graphics that are production-ready with no code.
This course is aimed at UI Designers, UX Designers and Product Designers that want to level up their design skills and designs by adding moments of delight, an extra layer of polish and whimsy to their work.
In this course, we will be using Figma to create our design concepts and some of the UI assets. We will then use these in After Effects to create stunning animations using keyframes and curves. Then once we are happy with the results we will export these animations as Lottie files and use the LottieFiles tools to view our creations. Lastly, I will show you how we can use these Lottie Files in our apps, websites and other digital product designs.

I don't get it, how is the new component (framed) related to the two connected images? It seems like it is missing a part that is not explained
Title is misleading. There is plugin 'UI Motion' in Figma and i wanted to learn about it, no word about AE in the title. Not a hate comment tho
Thanks for the feedback. This video is part of a bigger course specifically around using figma ae and Lottie to create animated components that you can use on your site or app.
I have plenty of other tutorials on this channel that show you how to animate directly inside of figma.
