Thanks for the shout out! You're so sweet! It's been so nice having an amputee buddy as we've both gone through this journey.

one footed phoenix I never new that CRPS is high on the scale before pregnant and others that's so high cannot believe you gone through that .I never knew you had a neuroma hope u are doing well with this. Glad you feel a little better with your phantom pain and your CRPS . Your doing so well coping too with this . I'm not coping well so far. I though I would walk over six month that's not gone very well been over a year and because I have a skin and having a neuroma tumor it's been harder than I thought and having a skin graph on my amputee leg it's hard for me I have to look after it more that normal skin but I wish I had known before having it done.but one day I will learn to walk. But you help so many of us and hope everyone help you too an enjoy watch your video s like I do. And hope lots of people by your notebook too. Hope to see some more videos and they all smash that like button too 🦜🐦🎇🎆🏵️🌼

Great video! Thanks for the mention. 😊 I have a question! When are we all getting together for a CRPS amp pizza night?

On the "how soon do you walk" question- I feel like it can be hard to tell unless you ask the amputee. People sometimes saw me up on my leg for a few minutes and assumed that I was doing better than I was, because they didn't realize that I still spent a LOT of time in my wheelchair. Like you, it's been a long road getting to walk, and I had some lingering CRPS in my stump until the bisphosphonate infusions.

@@onefootedphoenix Makes sense. I'm trying to walk more, but still have to use my chair a lot. I think it'll be a gradual process.

@@onefootedphoenix I feel like people get a snap shot and think it's an accurate representation of the rest of a person's life. But I guess that's natural, unless we say something they can't mind read to know what they can't see. That's why disability awareness is so important. I think you do a great service bringing attention to the issues people don't usually see or talk about.

Have you checked out your back? I've lately been discovering that phantom limb pain sometimes has more than one source. My video tomorrow will be about it, but basically if there's an issue in the back, it can put pressure on the nerves running down to amputated leg. And sitting in a wheelchair increases the risk of these types of back problems.

@@onefootedphoenix Interesting. I don't know whether my back issue pre-dated amputation, but it's definitely affecting things now.
