I was searching for something because I just got the updated version of this off kickstarter that arrived today and ended up here. Wasn't what I was looking for but this video is pretty charming and covers the features of the original pretty well.
@@christianpatrickdouglass4810 So far its a lot of fun. I figured out most of it before the manual was posted. I had some keys sticking at first but it might have just needed to be broken in (maybe the humidity didn't help either)
There's more bangs in this video than I'm used to seeing on UA-cam. It's kind of a big adjustment, but I think I've adequately adapted to consume such bang-centric media.
I just saw another one and it was pine, so they are using woods you can easily buy at your local home depot. I also now see the keys are wood. Thats a cool little thingy.
The wood is vertical grain douglas fir. The reason it's vertical grain is because it is the quarter sawn portion of the tree. The joint is a 'finger joint' similar to a dovetail but smaller and easily made with a router bit. What are the knobs made of? they look like resin or something similar?
