Okokokok I know you guys voted for the q&a video to be first 🫣🫣 But I figured you all can get to know me in this video and then drop your comments for the q&a here!! So, what do YOU want to know about the book?? 👀👀 Let me know!
I've had two gap years in my life, one intentionally, one kind of incidentally. In any case, they're the two happiest and most productive years of my life. If you get a chance to follow your bliss, take it! Your journey sounds really interesting and inspiring. I'm impressed with all you've taught yourself.
This is (almost ) literally me right now , i am giving my Alevels right now ,but will probably** take another year , after this where i retake my physics exams ,probably** because i am still undecided which path i am taking , and that may or may not need physics , however another reason for taking a gap year after A levels , is to write a book . In all honesty there is no drafts , no storylines made , but i am working on a medieval , fantasy world , so i cant just start writing randomly , there has to be extensive research , trying to make plots , and patterns and how they join up ,and its not gonna be one book, a whole series 3 books + . So all that ofcourse isnt going to be finished in a year, but atleast , i write some small , but significant part of it during this time , and then during life keep reading more books and adding on to it .
You just don't realize what a great place you're in. This is the perfect time to start writing. Solution to the job market fear and the lack of a job: Work in a warehouse--Amazon for example is easy to apply for and hires quickly. I'm a 5+ -year veteran and a writer. It's hard af but good pay and great benefits. I mean, AMAZING. I get the enhanced and premium everything and it's still pretty darn cheap. In fact, any "mindless job" will be a boon to your writing, because your mind will work on story ideas your entire shift. I'm currently revising my debut novel for release next summer (YA sci-fi), and lemme tell you, NOW is the time to accomplish the thing you'll love. Good luck on your writing journey!
@@5Gburn I'm from Spain so the job market situation is a little different, but I've decided to work towards a stable job (unemployment is a very important issue in my country) but I've also decided to take my writing more seriously!
Hey, I just got this randomly recommended to me and found it very aspirational. I stumbled into a UA-cam career at a fairly young age and it's good to see other people getting started in the biz. At the top, you have a much better start than I did! You have a solid on-camera presence AND you have an actual plan. I just... fumbled through my niche until fetch started happening. If you want any UA-cam advice, feel free to shoot me an email. I can't be a consultant or anything like that but if you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer! Congrats on the grant, hope to read this book one day.
I am so excited for the book!! It’s so hard to find good YA books that aren’t heavily focused on romance or don’t have a swear word every other sentence. Thank you for all the work that you have put towards this book 💕
Hey, Beck! I think I've got a similar backstory to you and some of our fellow compatriots. I've got a very large gap of time, provided by a big medical issue that's prevented me from getting a job, so I'm writing just to fill in time, waiting for the US medical system to get working. But in my waiting and writing, I've really rediscovered my love of writing. I found a writing group full of people I love who give me excellent feedback, and I think I've settled on what I'll do with my writing; so I've started writing this scifi multifandom fanfic, that I'm mostly writing as a 5-part series for the fanfic community that really helped me out in the wake of the impossible negativity of 2016 and also to create a community of readers who know how I tell stories who want to read any of my stories in the future. Once I finish the fanfic series, I'll start focusing on my 3 "book" (will they remain a trilogy of books? No idea. I'm very open to ideas.) story that I've had since I was 10 (I'm 31 now, so it's naturally changed a lot from the initial idea). It'll be a for early twenty-somethings fantasy/scifi story that I really, really love. But what I'd really like to know from you about your book is what's one thing that you personally love about your book and tell us all about that thing. Like, what's the story of the thing's inclusion in the story? Why is it so important for you that it be part of your story? What do you hope will result from the thing's inclusion in the story, on either your story, you personally, your readers, or the greater world?
I'm really excited for the book, even if I barely know the first thing about it. the second you mentioned percy jackson, you had my full attention. really looking forward to hearing more information about the book. best of luck!!
IM SO EXCITED!! Here’s a few questions: -Will the book be available in book stores or just online? -Is there going to be multiple POV’s? -Will there be hints of romance in the series? -How are you today? :) That’s all thank you! (Sorry if it’s a lot 😅)

I would love if you named our little community and like created it as a named association kinda thing 😀 so that one day you'll get famous and one of us will meet you at your super luxurious golden flecked meet and greet with you in a beautiful dress and then we'll be like" oh we're actually your oldest most loving supporters who supported you all throughout your journey " and it will be like such a wholesome moment!!!! 😉😄

congratulations on your first long form UA-cam video!! I'm excited to follow along your journey❤ as a fellow aspiring dark fantasy author, my question is: what made you decide to pursue self-publishing as opposed to traditional? was it a clear choice for you, or were there certain factors that influenced your decision? and once again congrats on the growth of your channel❣

I'd love to know the balance between fanticy and modern day: for example do the characters make references to resent events? And, how much have the fantasy elements changed society? :))
I have a few questions I hope you wouldn't mind answering :3 -will the ebook be available or will it only be in bookstores? -does the book include LGBTQ+?
This is amazing! I published my first book in 2022 and now I’m working on growing my UA-cam journey as well. Am currently trying to decide what I want my next novel to be. I have two or three drafts but sometimes it can be so hard to choose. 😢 best of luck with everything!
So cool!! Are you participating in Nanowrimo this year? ❤ Also, my question about the book is, who is your protagonist and can you tell us a bit about their story?
I actually would love to make a video talking about my NaNoWriMo journey, because I did it for two years and decided to delete my account and stop participating (esp with all their controversies). Otherwise, I'm definitely so swamped with editing and publishing to try drafting something new at the moment 😅
I'd love to know basic/general info about the main character/s of the book like the age, gender or name. Also are there any fantasy animals in your book?? Love your video and best of luck!
Love this video! My questions are what tropes are in this book? Found family, grumpy x sunshine, etc? Also, what made you decide to have no spice in it? I love how you decided to exclude it but I was wondering why since all YA novels recently have it 😭
Hmmmm ok i glad i came across you as a random reacting to Epic because now i here on a real journey and want to know the world and if possible what kind of relationship we see like comradely. A romance that builds up over time. Will there be people you make clear cant be tursted or will hide that from both the your characters and the readers
What, if any, tips would you give to other people in your situation/what had you have done differently? Will the book be available worldwide or just in the US?

As I wake up still lost in the night
I’m trying to hang on to the images
But the dreams at first vivid
Quickly fade in the cold light of the day
I can remember making the coffee
But I forgot the taste
I looked outside my window but did not see
The sheer beauty of this autumn morning
I can still feel the touch of your kiss
The gleam in your eyes, your warm embrace
But it’s time to go now
I will leave all this behind on my way out
Beneath the rhythms of the ordinary
Lay hidden trinkets of life
Moments paused or forgotten
To make way for next step in the day
Comings and goings, meetings and achieving
I know what I have to do today
Same as yesterday
The work is trying but the patterns are familiar
Beneath the rhythms of the ordinary
The touch, the kiss, the word, the smile
Untold treasures-scattered carelessly
Crumbling under their own weight
I found an old pen in my desk drawer
Long lost among the paper clips and the loose change
I remember this pen wrote the most beautiful words-
In this pen lived all my love for you
Beneath the rhythms of the ordinary
I found a pen
And a way home
