"Pawn Stars" follows three generations of the Harrison family as they assess the value of items coming in and out of their Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas, from the commonplace to the truly historic.
He came in showing the rings like if he had the infinity stones😂
Brian Flores to be honest who ever has six rings like Brady deserves to be called thanos
jacob satorious ofc they do.
It’s a pawnshop business.
They usually buy stuff at 70% price.
Business is business.
Yup those rings are rare but not that rare to haggle that much.
He kinda does lol
“I am inevitable”
Matthew Anthony 👌
If you're selling your valuables at a pawnshop, you've already lost. Common sense, folks....
Amen
At least you've lost at that point in time
But yeah, Who goes to pawn shops to sell stuff like that? That's what the internet is for, duh
Dawson Garret - Apparently the pawn shop has guys (or the people working for the history channel) who go on Craigslist and invite people to sell things on the show. At least this was how one guy who sold something on the show was contacted. They probably look in the classifieds as well.
@@lsubslimed probably right. This is entire show is set up. I still like it though. Most shows that I know are fake I really don't like but I do like this one
"Can I call in a guy to lowball you on the value?" lol
General Patzer facts
I feel like he tells them to lower the price when they come over
Lmao
thas the reason he call em up
Yeah like always,... unbelievable
I want $112 thousand
Rick: gasp ...... let me call a guy that I know that will low ball the crap out of your rings
THE EPIC REVIEWER lmao! Thank you for the laugh. They’d exactly what I was thinking
@@MarcosLifeBlog He called the guy and told him what the man was trying to sell it for. Thats why he came in and gave such a lowball price. I can see those rings going from 27k-35K a pop.
It’s almost like he means it when he says he’s calling a friend of HIS!!!
In all seriousness they do this a lot I also think the appraisers are into the low Balling too and get a cut on the sale of the items.
You're supposed to get it appraised first, bring the appraisal receipt with you and go from there.
The sellers should bring theyre own experts in thatll be a twist lol
Producers wouldn't allow that.
I hope he still has them ...if they win, then demand is gonna shoot up. Then he’ll get the money he’s looking for.
Ahab The Crusader rip
When Rick devalues an item the seller should ask if he can call in a buddy of his.

“I Gotta make a living...”
the worth for 1000 pounds of diamonds is around 1.1 trillion but eh do you
Emo the Emu it would actually not be that much due to the fact that there would be lower demand for it if that were to be found as the only reason it is so expensive is because of its rarity, it’s kind of like if there was a diamond expo planet and we could take all the diamonds on it, the diamonds would no longer be worth anything because they would be everywhere.

Why would you sell three 49ers rings so that you can buy more 49ers memorabillia? Seems like you already own the holy grail of niners stuff
Poseidon I’m glad somebody said the exact same thing I was thinking, what else could you possibly purchase?
Poseidon he probably doesn’t want to sell at all, most collectors go on the show as an advertisement for their collection. There’s a lot of stupid millionaires that are willing to spend a lot more than the pawn stars are.
probably wants to buy Joe Montana's jock strap. Or Colin Kaeps knee pad.
Poseidon 100%
Not the holy grail. He needs the other 2 49ners Superbowl rings and maybe 1 to replace the ring the jeweller screwed up and then its the holy grail
If the rings were worth 37k new, they would increase in value due to the history. How in the hell can you give a price of 20k per ring?
It is all about supply and demand. The demand for these rings are dudes in their 40s and 50s who are 49ers fans. That's not a large market.
That's how much it costs to make them, not how much they're worth. Besides he was talking about the new gaudy-er ones.
Go to craigslist. you will see bunch of diamonds selling well below their appraisal value. Buy all of it and I am sure you can be a millionaire right away.
They are players rings, the first one is probably worth another $6000-7000 on top for that reason but otherwise these are the 80s type of setting which is around $20k retail. These are not as gaudy as rings made in the new millennium. Which would have many more karats of diamond per ring.
They would probably auction it off or flip it for 25-30k. The main thing is there are so many Superbowl rings anyways now.
The expert-"It cost 37000$ to make each ring.... Add in 30 years, the fact that they were owned by players and the fact that the 49ers were a dynasty and the retail value is 20000$"! WTF?
A lot lower than you would think they are worth, especially since each ring is a one of a kind piece.
That expert should learn math..Low ball offer again.
H Town called inflation
They are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them, not what someone thinks they are worth. If they were worth the price the guy wanted why take to a pawn shop? Sell them yourself to a collector and see what they would be willing to pay.
A M inflation means prices going up not down lmao
Update : He sold them at auction for 400k for all
edit : LMFAO I WAS JOKING
If that’s true then the guy who valued them ought to resign from his job
I'd say he either doesn't know his market or just hates the Niners. 😂
or how old is this video made, it could be 10 years old
There is always an "update" comment in these videos but they never say the source
@@greatstuff8554 well, there's a huge difference between retail and auction though, no one in their right mind would think you get action prices at a pawnshop. Get a few people with deep pockets at an auction going head to head the sky's the limit.
He spent $105,000 on a wonka bar and an everlasting gobstoper
Ahahaha
@Reddcoin Group ok...
@Reddcoin Group stfu
Authentic.
Reddcoin Group they work there. But most of the offers are fake they have people come in and “ sell “ the stuff but they don’t actually sell it
I am happy about him standing his ground. I'm also grateful that he brought the rings in which allows the public to appreciate their beauty.
The expert says it costs 36K to make one ring and the value of the ring is 20K even when it's championship winning. Bravo
Its basic economics, supply/demand.
Not when it's gold and diamond. Im sure the cost of jewelry would have rose a lot for the past 30 years
Even i am no expert in super bowl rings but can clearly say that expert was bullshiting on those ring estimates.glad he didnt sell
The gold and diamond in those rings is not worth 36k. The difference in price is labor cost to produce them. So you got about 20k worth the metal and rock, and the jeweler makes his wage to get the production value of 35k-ish Second hand buyers aren't going to pay the jewelers wage. If tomorrow no one wanted to buy another super bowl ring ever again they would just melt them down and take the stones out for resale, so that's what their paying for here gold and stone. I'm usually pretty quick to tell people they're dumb about a pawn shop being a rip off.... if you don't want to sell your stuff you don't have to, but this offer did seem unreasonably low, even to me.
Diamonds don't follow the same upward trend as gold does normally. Diamonds are not rare like gold is, it's a monopolized industry, and their prices are arbitrarily set usually by De beers. Gold is rare because there's not much of it, diamonds are rare because De Beers only gives out a handful of them from it's very, very large bin, every year to very select jewelers.
So glad he walked out with the rings and his dignity
I didn’t know Eazy-E played corner for the 49ers once upon a time.
maybe this guy should see if those players would pay that for their rings back
sicfrynut Exactly 😂
Its cause he woked up quick at about noon.
Andrija Gudelj Just thought that he had to be in Compton soon! 😂👌🏻
What the guy was asking was worth it. Auction $200,780.00 for all 3. Ricks offer was an insult.
Where was this?
1:44
Rick: “They’re players Ive never really heard of.”
Customer: “Really? Eric Wright, the starting corner back for four Super Bowls, you never heard of him???”
I’ll watch this whole video again just to hear that line with that tone. Classic
lol then he changes the subject super quick
I'm dying right now X'D
kidk007 it’s a buyers tatic, you’re not going to buy something at full price unless you can haggle the price down. I’m sure he knew but was testing the waters.

This Dan "expert" they call is a fraud, he rips off all customers by half, he talks like he owns the Sports Memorabilia market, what a joke...
Bang Bang This is a famous sports guy that is known before the show! The show pays him not rick! You do realize rick doesn't personally know any of those experts on the show right? They are all very famous in there field before pawn stars!
Those rings were definitely not worth the money the guy was asking! Some sell for around $18k
I guess you want rick to pay him $112k and sell them for $60k
😂😆😂 Bit of advice kid don't ever go into business you will be bankrupt in a month lol

so he quotes the ring at being worth $36-37,000 when originally purchased. I would assume they only increase in value with time, but then says they go for $20K.
Football isn’t as big as it used to be that goes especially for the 49ers
He didn't say they were worth that. He said that was what it cost to make them. I can spend $5000 for someone to make me a custom ring. Doesn't mean it's going to be worth $5000 when I try to sell it.
