The highlights you've gotten in your hair look fantastic! I'm a long-term Kringle-holic, and I totally agree with your assessment. The majority of customers were already upset last year about too many releases, which was around 100 new fragrances. Instead of listening to overwhelming feedback (even ambassadors) and slowing down a bit, Kringle more than double downed to release well over 200 new fragrances this year. The performance has declined as quantity has become the priority over quality. The #1 pro of soy wax is that it's cleaner burner but this year has brought us major sooting. I'm not sure if it's a matter of lower/cheaper quality oils or wicks or a combination of both. Kringle is my favorite candle company and I have been sooooo disheartened with the overall decline of the company. I'm not ready to quit them yet. My love for the company is keeping me loyal currently. I am crossing my fingers and toes that changes for the better are soon to come!
I agree with you I think they had way too many releases this year. I think they should release once per season and the Halloween candles of course. It was interesting to me that the candles you hauled were old time candles for the most part

Fun Kringle haul.🌲Cypress & Cinnamon is a very good spices with light tree scent…finished 2 already. Also really enjoyed Frosted Spice as it’s actually not red hot cinnamon while burning; interesting variety for a Winter scent. Thanks for sharing. R🍁
So happy to see you got Coffee Shop; I think you'll really like it and I'll be looking forward to hear what you think! It has great performance, though I have noticed that the medium jars are slightly weaker than the large jars. Still, I think it should easily be in the 7 range.
I have bought very little from them this year. Was very disappointed starting with the Halloween launch. Actually maybe it started with the fruity 3 wick launch after watching reviews. I'm a basic fragrance type of gal...so it's frustrating when the fragrance is different than what you envisioned based on the notes. Returning to them is also so expensive. I don't like that they haven't had wax melts at new launches to sample. I will say I'm one of those strange people who don't want to be punched in the face with fragrance...so I don't mind the soy wax giving off less throw. Loved hearing your thoughts!!!
Your points are well stated! I agree wholeheartedly. I have messaged Kringle several times asking for melts &/or Daylights for all new candles, especially Reserves. I’ve purchased several candles that turned out to not agree with my nose/fragrance preferences. Looking forward to seeing what’s next from Kringle. R🍁
Hi!!! I have a question. Do you know if the wax melts smell exactly the same as the candles from for example kringle and country candle? I feel like the smell is different sometimes.
Traditionally the wax melts and daylights were all paraffin, regardless of the candle. So even the modern Kringle tumblers, which are 100% soy, had wax melts and daylights that were paraffin. In those cases, yes, you could have significant scent differences, because soy holds fragrance differently from paraffin. I believe now everything is 100% soy, so you shouldn’t see those same differences (unless it is old batch). That said, you may see some PERFORMANCE differences, which do indirectly affect scent. Candles may burn weaker than wax or daylights melt. So you may smell the fragrance differently from format to format. I hope this helps!
Thank you for your honest thoughts on Kringle candles. Exactly, way too many limited releases as their marketing strategy to try to get people to pay full price and not wait for sales. Personally, I thought the Halloween candles were the most disappointing Halloween Kringle has ever done. So many floral/perfume scents in the artist collection. Then the country was a bunch of witchy candles with actual spells on the back, and unappealing scents. I do not want to be bring into my house anything so directly related to the occult. Halloween decor can be fun and reminiscent of childhood Halloween memories. That is what I look for, just slightly spooky, dressing up like princesses or fairies, and trick or treating with friends in the dark. All the slasher movies I totally ignore. So the continued core Halloween candles based on slasher movies, ugh! I literally only bought 2 Halloween candle from them, Cute Black cat on a pumpkin. That one combines a great design with nice, traditional fall/Halloween scents. That one sold out in 7 minutes, so obviously, that is the kind of Halloween customers actually want. I also got Halloween, a scent I know I like since I had it before. As for new, limited release I don't buy them unless the scent profile is exactly what I know I like. So far, very few are matching up to my preferences. Hope you have a lovely Christmas.
Oh man I didn’t know they had witchy candles with spellwork on them! As a pagan who practices witchcraft I would have loved them! Thanks for spreading awareness! I’ll definitely be looking out for more pagan friendly designs from Kringle in the future!

Yeah don’t give up on them! I can’t imagine they aren’t going to make the right changes. I hope it is sooner rather than later!!
I’d prefer country be paraffin!!! I’ve been buying some Yankee candles since we have a store in town and I can go shop! Love hearing your thoughts.

I tried Kringle's Coffee Shop when they first switched to soy and I thought it was light. Never tried it in paraffin though🤎
