18:48 Before playing Captain America in the MCU, Chris Evans played Johnny Storm, a member of a superhero team called The Fantastic Four in a pair of movies made by Twentieth Century Fox. The 4 on his chest is the team logo, and his appearance here is a reference to those movies.
8:20 The Sacred Timeline (Earth-616) is the primary reality of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), which began with Iron Man (2008) building up to The Avengers (2012) and has expanded across movies, TV shows, and more. It essentially serves as Marvel's primary live-action universe, an interconnected universe designs after the comics. Meanwhile, the Fox X-Men films, including Deadpool, are set in their own separate universe, Earth-10005. Fox owned the rights to the X-Men and Fantastic Four while Marvel was developing the MCU. As a result, Marvel couldn’t legally use these IPs and instead focused on The Avengers, building a cinematic universe around them. Meanwhile, Fox, which wanted to remain separate from the MCU, released X-Men projects alongside MCU films. For example, X-Men: First Class (2011) premiered the same year as Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), which was initially planned to include a cameo featuring Wolverine and Magneto, but Fox refused to allow it. If Fox had allowed this to happen, the X-Men films, beginning with First Class, would have officially been set in the MCU. We would most likely have seen Easter eggs and crossovers to the broader Marvel Universe, including moments like the X-Men and Avengers meeting. Had this occurred, the X-Men would have definitely shown up in Avengers: Infinity War (2018) to help defend the world from Thanos. But... this of course never happened. In 2019, Disney acquired Fox, reverting the rights to Marvel and finally enabling these characters to be integrated into the MCU. Marvel is already working on Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025), which will introduce the Fantastic Four into the MCU, and we’ll likely see MCU X-Men films in the future, complete with a brand-new cast of actors. Outside the MCU, Marvel Studios has released X-Men '97 (2024), an incredible series set in its own universe, continuing the story from the beloved X-Men: The Animated Series of the 1990s. Additionally, Deadpool & Wolverine (2024) is a film set in the Fox X-Men universe but includes connections to the MCU through its multiverse storyline. The film begins with Deadpool visiting Earth-616 to attend an interview to become an Avenger, but most of the story takes place in his home reality of Earth-10005 and the Void.
It's also worth mentioning that in the comics, the Avengers, X-Men, and Fantastic Four all coexist within the broader Marvel Universe. This was originally the plan for the MCU. However, due to legal rights, the X-Men and Fantastic Four were kept separate from the greater Marvel Universe, even though Marvel had always wanted to integrate them, starting back with Iron Man (2008). There was even a deleted scene in Iron Man where a character mentions mutants, a term Marvel couldn't legally use at the time, so it was cut from the movie. But it clearly hinted towards Iron Man, along with this future MCU being a shared universe in which the X-Men movies also took place within. But moving forward, we'll finally get to see the X-Men interact with the broader Marvel Universe, along with the Fantastic Four. These will be new versions of the characters compared to the older films, though I have a feeling Marvel will keep Hugh Jackman around for a little while, portraying Wolverine from another universe. I don't see Marvel introducing new X-Men until the end of the decade so we still got five years left of room for more Jackman, plus Deadpool as well.
5:18 No, it is not 400 years later. The numbers are not an indicator of what year it is nor the passage of time. They designate the many different universes/timelines. We're dealing with the Multiverse, in which there are many separate universes. Each universe is given a number to tell it apart from the rest. Universe #616 is where the Iron Man, Captain America, and Avengers movies of the Marvel Cinematic Universe take place, and it is considered the "Sacred Timeline" that must be adamantly protected. Universe #10005 is where the movies of the X-Men and Deadpool take place.
Who's that to Henry Cavill, playing a fancasted Wolverine variant. He is Superman in Man of Steel, Geralt in Netflix's Witcher, He's cast in an upcoming Voltron film and will star and produce a live action Warhammer 40k series. As an actor a lot of people appreciate him for authenticity and being a genuine nerd. He built his own gaming pc and loves the lore of projects he's in, helping to nail accurate story.
An inconsequential variant of wolverine and he was a terrible superman, as an actor he is very bad having only his fan base on networks because no one went to see his movies which failed at the box office
It felt like a genuine love letter to the early Fox and Marvel films. The first time Deadpool being silent after Wolverine roasted him in the car is such a strong and awesome acting moment
Fantastic Four, Blade, Daredevil, Electra, are Marvel characters that sold the film rights to other companies, and are now recovering, like the X-Men when Disney bought Fox. The TVA and the Void are references to the Marvel series Loki. The Proposal is a romantic comedy starring Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock.

Chris Evens is playing the human torch one of the fantastic 4 , that's the first role he played in Marvel before Captain america in the fantastic 4 2005
One thing they gloss over, it takes Deadpool time to regrow body parts. If Wolverine sliced him apart, legs, arms, torso, head, and walked away it would be ages before Deadpool reformed.
Fun fact throughout the trilogy, deadpool never drove a car he always sit next to the driver in the first two movies it was always dopinder and his taxi and in this one when nicepool gave them the car logan was driving and deadpool was sitting next to him and when they met the resistance and went back to fight cassandra elaktra was driving and deadpool next to her
Ok so a lot people who reacted to this movie don't know that before Chris Evans played Captain America in the MCU he played Johnny storm from the Fantastic Four films.
Because nobody ever asks them to react to it. I know they're not perfect by any means, but they still should be watched... and for this movie one should have seen at least 1 season of Loki at minimum... good personality though (shrugs)
There's 3 Fantastic Four films, 3 Blade films, Daredevil, Electra. Some people would say you can skip the 2nd and 3rd fantastic films and Electra to at least be a little prepared for cameos of this film. I watched everything. Blade 3 has Ryan Reynolds. It's a minor callback in this film so it's not super important. You should also see Loki season one/two for TVA context and more Loki.
You needed to watch several other movies and series before you could appreciate how great this movie is and understand the enormous amount of references.
I just had to watch at blade, daredevil director's cut and fantastic four. It is not necessary for her to watch the mcu loki series because in the movie they explain well what the TVA is
You needed to have seen another 5-6 films and a few series before this film would hit properly, its like watching the last episode of a series without seeing all the others, it wont make a lot of sense.

@@RM-qj8cs doesnt recognise henry cavill, or the fantastic four logo, the void, and a dozen other things, she is missing out on so much (as do those waiting for the reactions that dont come). It’s just a movie, my personal opinion is that I don’t want to “have” to do x w z to be able to have watched all the Deadpool movies. I enjoyed this one just fine without knowing who they are, would it have added nostalgia perhaps if I had seen these characters before. Sure I can see that. Am I personally invested enough to watch all the things, no not really. I love nerds though and I am one myself for other things like LotR so I can understand that you and others who like this universe a lot feel different and that’s okay!
Sometimes, a reaction like this can be interesting, like if someone only knew the MCU films, Spider-Man, and the X-Men. Seeing the cameos would make them want to check out the other past Marvel films. This, however, is a completely blind reaction. Still alright, though. I love your accent.
16:09 Disney bought Twentieth Century Fox in 2019. Fox made all the X-Men films from 2000 to 2019. But Disney now owns them, and since they bought Marvel Studios back in 2012, Disney owns both the MCU and the X-Men/Deadpool movies. It's pretty much the whole reason this movie was able to be made. If they had not bought both, we would have never got Deadpool, Wolverine, or any of the X-Men in the MCU.
It’s a testament to the writing of this movie that people find it entertaining even though they don’t understand half the jokes. To truly appreciate it you half to be a fan of pop culture for the last 50+years. Star Trek, Grease, Wonder Woman and don’t forget the Wizard of Os was referenced.

The answer to all your questions: MCU. You’ll enjoy this movie way more, and understand it way better, if/when you watch the MCU and the Marvel from Fox. It’s a long way, but an overall great journey 👍
This movie is fun. How fun depends a lot on how much you know about the X-Men and the MCU... and some backstory on the actors, their personal lives, and production hell. Deadpool & Wolverine is fan service with enough exposition for a casual viewer to follow the major plot points. It's a good movie, but to get as much out of it as they put into it, you need a _lot_ of backstory.

I’m glad I did though, I enjoyed them way more than I thought I would. I’m still probably not the intended audience for this movie and that is okay.
Seriously, have you seen any of the MCU at all? If you havent seen enough you can't blame the movie for scenes you can't appreciate. This is the 34th MCU movie, the TVA and Void is introduced in the Loki series. This also pays homage to 2 decades of X-men movies, previous Fox studios movies like Daredevil, Elektra, Fantastic 4(Chris Evans was in it) and Blade(New Line Cinema). Jumping into this movie blind is obviously going to ruin the experience.
Lighten up. Some people start the MCU with Iron Man. It's not her fault she wasn't led to the 2000s Marvel films chronologically. Prior to this film no one expected crossovers from the first Marvel films into the MCU.

Homework is overrated 😏 I’ve seen all the X men movies and I’ve seen pretty much all Marvel movies but I’m not a hardcore fan and not really memorized things from the movies. I still enjoyed watching it even though I obviously don’t get everything but I’m okay with that. It’s not that serious to me personally
Interesting to experience the movie from the perspective of someone who's in it for the story and less the meta jokes. The story of this movie is very thin, so I totally get it that it feels overhyped. I enjoyed this movie a lot, but that was mostly because of all the quips to off-screen events that the script references. I think this movie is mostly fan service and meta jokes that make it 'good', besides that it's very average
I enjoyed the personality, but damn - your subscribers failed you on an insane level. There was so much stuff they should have told you to watch before this... and hey I discovered a movie reactor out there who doesn't like violence and yet reacts to this stuff. Maybe music reactions would suit better? Okay that was shade, apologies, but still - there was a lot that needed to be watched before this.

I'am enjoyed to watching your reaction to this movie sessis, especially your happy clap when these two survives, in case you wonder at: 27:05 these two are elektra and blade I'm looking forward to see next week sessis😊!
You have not seen any of the marvel movies and why are you going to see this movie.
🧠?
How do you know what I’ve seen or not seen 👀😂 jokes aside. I’ve seen almost all Marvel movies, watched them with my Twitch community a couple of years ago. But I’ve not seen any of the newest ones or shows and such
The screaming at the beginning 🤣🤣🤣🤣
La reacción que esperaba ♥️🖤💛💙
Why would anyone watch this without knowing ANYTHING about the X-Men movies? This is literally a tribute to all of the Fox X-Men movies.
I’ve just finished watching all the X-men movies, the reactions are all uploaded on my page. What in particular makes you feel like I don’t know ANYTHING? /genuine question
The giant person is a dead ant man
Hello Sess how are you doing today? That movie I've watched it already. Deadpool and wolverine is a great movie. I liked that movie so much. Thanks for the reactions❤.
hey and cool movie
Deadpool & Wolverine good movie 👍😀
Let's Go Sessis
👍
Kidpool is Blake and Ryan's daugher
The dance during the intro was performed by a professional dancer. It is also the same choreography as was originally performed by the band back in the day.
Another reactor that didn't do their homework before watching the movie.
Sometimes that can be interesting, like if they only knew the MCU films, Spider-Man, and the X-Men. Seeing the cameos would make them want to check out the other past Marvel films. This, however, is a completely blind reaction.
I hope you enjoy your holiday or I mean December
Sessis, the Los Angeles Rams is a professional football team
American football. (Remember, “football” means soccer in other countries.)
Where are you from?
❤💛
Hi🌹
@16:34 hawt
Disney brought fox that's why it was in the ruin
Awesome reaction as always Sessis ❤
The religious people singing like a prayer is hilarious 😂
I love your channel ❤
Thank you for the kind comment that really cheers me up. 🫶
The Team that saved the whole UCM ❤❤❤

Glad you found parts you liked about this movie. Tre reaction was fun as always. They actually make fun of my city somewhat in this movie. I know it's not in this youtube version of reaction but wanted to tell you anyway. The people in my city laughed at it. Keep up the good work and will see you around the internet
Truthful Timmy, is that you?
@@chrissmalley83 That's the one
Yer I don't use a sock either must be a American thing.
You needed to watch all the MCU movies in order before watching Deadpool 😢
I’ve already seen the MCU
as much as I hate Ryan Reynolds as a person 😂 I will say that this movie was one of my top favorites watching this year & it was awesome seeing Wolverine in his X-Men costume 😱 & I also loved the cameos of the Marvel Characters I grew up watching & let's see how many sensitive grown men reply to me 😂 cuz i already know it's happening
Do you know the presidential candidates personally? I'm quite sure you make deep and lasting judgments about them without knowing them personally.
Dont be such a parasocial. It'll get you nowhere. @TheBenefactrix
Yeah. Let's go down the list of how many people Reynolds screwed over...
Wait a minute... oh it's zero.
@maxpayne232 As if screwing people over is the only quality or act that can make someone unlikeable to others. OP said nothing about screwing people over. Let us not be naive.
@@TheBenefactrixI don't have to know him idiot 😂 ur to busy being a troll and get sensitive over a comment get a life
