Man this was seriously the greatest moment of my life. I am so thankful for being able to go on stage and press the button for them! I wish I could have gotten everyone up there with me to see that view... I was crying for so long I had to go to the medical tent from dehydration! I got a video from backstage on my channel if any1 wants to check it out. You get a good view of the crowd at the end. Thanks everyone, without all of you EDC wouldnt have been possible. I told myself for the months leading up to EDC i would wait to roll for the first time there. I saw the lineup and knew there only one option. Sunday, the last day. Above and Beyond on the mainstage. and i did. I peaked right at this moment and literally started crying. I can't possibly explain the way i felt at that moment when that drop hit me.
The quality is great on your GoPro! I'll have to buy one and take it with me to the next festival I go to. Camping was AMAZING. Campers were able to show up one day early to set up camp and then there was a special pre-show party with local djs, playing for the campers till 4am! Can't wait to camp again next year at EDC Chicago!
Recorded it with a GoPro now that they allowed them into EDC :) but the incredible bass and power of the sound at Kinetic field overwhelmed the mic on it so the sound is messed up :/
hey pretty nice video with Hardwell! nah i took mine out of the case but should've left it in so the mic wouldn't bog down when the bass hit. it was set to 1080p 30fps. just a tip, if you're posting it up to youtube the best format is 720p or 1080p (1080p is sharpest) at 24fps or 30fps (30fps is smoothest). if you use a different aspect ratio or frame rate then youtube will have to perform more conversion on it and it will lose quality.
