Hey, i really like your game but did you guys ever add the option to pick up other things in different worlds? kinda like how the seamless coop mod in elden ring does
@@alibilgi6122 not sure if I understand you, but multiplayer is seamless. If you pick up something while playing with a friend, it's yours. If you disconnect from multiplayer, you'll see that the pickup is gone in your own "world."
item pick ups is local only meaning what exactly? so say im hosting and my friend joins my game and i find a sword on the ground is the sword also there for him, multiplayer wouldn't be very good if your second player doesn't get any item drops
That's honestly really impressive, and something that I'm looking forward to! I do have questions, though: - How many players? - Cross-platform? - How/when is this feature accessed? Is it something we choose before we start a new game, or is it tied to a collectible/consumable (like Dark Souls tends to do)?
2 player, currently, although with enough interest it could be expanded. Cross platform - currently no due to our understanding of Xbox cert restrictions, but possibly in the future. It can be accessed from the first moment in game, through the use of an item.
Yoy should have it when you start the game! We did have a bug where if you started your save in the demo, you won't have it, but the recent patch should fix that.
@봇 you can start a game, connect with a friend, and both of you can make progress through the game, together. You can see every cutscene, talk to every character, use the shopkeeper and blacksmith, etc etc etc. Start to finish. Both players have their save data updated, and if you ever want to disconnect you will just continue where you left off. Currently when one of you dies it disconnects, but you can just reconnect and continue. Also, a patch is coming soon so it stays connected.
@봇 yes, of course. The setting should be there, I'm pretty sure. Or just press alt+enter. That's a universal setting in windows to toggle windowed mode!
Any plans on player invasions? Where one player can invade a session to try and kill the host, just like Dark Souls? Would be fun. Also are there any emotes? Can't have multi-player without emotes. Especially a praise the sun style of one.
@Overthemoongames1 (my steam account won't let me post there) So me and my friend are on Xbox but for some reason it won't let me or him join each other we made sure we were on the same part and everything matched but still nothing the game keeps crashing on us it is really annoying
You spend so much time comparing your game to other, better things and then turn heel and keep saying that you know how a souls like SHOULD feel like. It just feels very calculated and lame.
such an amazign game you created love you from the bottom of my heart
Why my teammates get kicked out after every Death cant the lobby stay connected?
Love the game tho.

exactly yes it is. technically multiplayer code doesn't even know about pick-ups.

@@Overthemoongames1 you neglected to mention its only password coop, no matching making. so dishonest
@@Overthemoongames1 And now, How many players?
Plultimayer!
Not much use for me, but, it'll make the Let's Plays and the Speedruns cooler!
How do you start multiplayer? Is there an equipment you need to have? If yes, when do we get it?

Is the game progressing simultaneously with friends?
Or is it like Dark Souls?
You can play through the whole game together, start to finish!
@@Overthemoongames1 Will the contents progress at the same time as a friend? Or should I do one separately and then the other?
