@@Rottensparrow You do understand right, that USA's police is very ready to shoot civilians no matter their ethnicity? Ownership of guns requires licenses, registration and a payment to upkeep said registration, and a proof of a legal use case, such as proof of membership to a gun range or a hunting permit and your hunting group's name. It gets expensive, but on the other hand practically all guns that are well kept enough to shoot reliably are known of by the government which makes it exceedingly rare to see any mishandling of guns. They aren't real, but people can own guns in Finland, and there's quite a lot of them (something in the order of 40-50 firearms per 100 population). However, they have to be registered per weapon (although there's an unknown, possibly large, number of unregistered weapons left over from the World Wars), and permits are only granted for a reason (e.g. self-defense isn't a reason, nor is hunting a valid reason for owning automatic firearms, although no types of weapons are explicitly banned). Most of the licensed weapons are hunting weapons, or weapons reservists use for practice.
